We stayed in early October for 5 nights. As others have said, it is in a small alley so no parking available but there is plenty of free parking on the car park and the streets round the sports stadium behind the fortress. The welcome couldn't have been more pleasant. We were greeted warmly and our cases were taken to...

A very warm welcome, great atmosphere, lovely surroundings and in the heart of the old town. Staff were very friendly and eager to please and there is a very nice courtyard where they served a generous breakfast in the morning.

My husband and I stayed at casa vitae on our honeymoon. The staff was incredibly warm and helpful, Effie stood out especially, waiting for us to arrive very late and greeting us with such memorable hospitality. The women who work there offered many helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do, the location was also fabulous! If we return to...

Nicely decorated rooms and fish pond in the garden, where you have breakfast and can comfortably relax with wifi access. Location great in the old town, with lots of restaurants around. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will come back here.

My wife and I visited Casa Vitae at the end of September 2016 as part of our honeymoon. We were originally planning to spend just a single night in Rethymno, but after looking some more at this hotel and all the positive reviews we needed to make it two. It turned out that all the positive reviews were spot on....

An ideal location within the charming old city. Walking distance to all hot spots in the town. The building itself is really pretty with beautifully decorated rooms and a great cozy ambience between the reception area and the courtyard where a delicious breakfast is served every morning. Saving the best for last, the team running the hotel are just the...

My husband and I love to travel but can only do short visits. I booked this hotel by the reviews from fellow tripadvisors and was not disappointed. Thanks to everyone at this beautiful, relaxing hotel for such a warm and welcoming stay. The staff was extremely helpful, gracious and friendly. The morning breakfast was wonderful and plentiful. They offered great...

We stayed 12 nights in this wonderful, beautiful hotel in the heart of Rethymnon's old city. And all the positive ratings written on TripAdvisor or anywhere else are absolutely right! We arrived relatively early at 11:30 am and were welcomed cordially. We were able to have our welcome drink in the beautiful courtyard - a fantastic mixture of old Venetian...

What a treat. The pictures are all to be believed. A beautiful Venetian boutique hotel in the old city center. We were met in a city parking lot for assistance with our bags and settled into the beautiful courtyard with a welcoming drink. We opted for a superior double room it was exceptional. Beautiful murals painted on the walls of...

We loved this little boutique hotel, was perfect for our honeymoon, great rooms, great service, and breakfast really nice. The only thing was the instructions to park were a little off. There is free parking just before the stadium or the dirt parking past the Prefecture. You can also park on some of the roads that surround the stadium and...
