Words cannot express the genuine true meaning of hospitality we received at Porta Klaras hotel. From the moment of our check-in to checkout the staff was incredible. Makis, the owner was so helpful to us in getting us panoramic view rooms and throughout our trip he advised us and even assisted us in planning our next destination. Yanni, his son was was equally as nice and not only works hand in hand with his Makis “Dad”, but also runs A Picco the adjacent restaurant with fab food and location. The staff Kostas was so helpful and super friendly! They truly take a great deal of pride in their hotel and its shows. The hotel is beautifully done and every corner deserves a photo. The rooms have all the amenities and we appreciated the kitchenettes and coffee station & water. We loved the rooftop rooms because after a long day at the beach the day didn’t stop with admiring the port and quaint city views from our terrace. The hotel is the best and would return as the staff made us feel like family during our stay. The hotel does not have an elevator so there are stairs you need to climb, however well laid out and handrails for those who need it. Don’t worry the staff will take your luggage to the rooms. The beds are comfy and pillows are great. Super clean rooms! The hotel is centrally located with bakery, restaurants, market, and beach within meters. The room was spotless, very clean, nice view and the host, Giannis, very pleasant and helpful. Room service was on point, the room had all things needed for a great stay, and the balcony was a great place to relax throughout the day. I really cannot find anything remotely wrong with out stay at Porto Klaras. I would recommend 1000%!

Yiannis is a tremendous host, there is nothing you could ask him that he cannot get done. The location of the apartment is excellent - conveniently located in Loutra with a beautiful view of the port and close to restaurants and shops. The accommodations are nicely furnished with a modern and new set up. Yiannis recently opened a Lounge Bar & Breakfast with great drinks and delicious breakfast. We strongly recommend Porto Klaras for those who wants an amazing experience with excellent service

We stayed here for a week in July, couldn’t fault it. Much like other posts, it’s Yiannis, his father and the rest of the staff here that make it such a wonderful place to stay. We had a lovely room with a large sea view balcony, Nothing was too much trouble for Yiannis, arranging everything from car hire to restaurant reservations if you needed. The new bar, A Picco was a great place to stop both for breakfast and a quiet drink in the evening. Highly recommend staying here 100% and would happily return next time we’re in Kythnos. Fantastic mega fresh room, with everything inn. Even a usb- socket :p The bed was super, everything was clean and a nice spacious bathroom. With a very nice shower. An amazing hotel owned by serious professionals, Messrs. Clara (father & son) who respect their customers and truly feel the meaning of Cycladic hospitality. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, with spacious rooms with an amazing view of the port of the most beautiful village of the island "Loutra". We came with our family of four after we were deceived by a yippie that was presented as a luxury villa with an absolute "10" as a rating from the popular site which has become dangerous. So I recommend it unreservedly for families or couples. Excellent!!

Amazing stay!!! It was such a lovely place, so clean so beautiful, with a great view, at a great location and of great value! The whole place is definitely renovated while Yiannis the owner is so kind and welcoming that is really rare to find :) thank you all for taking such good care of us

We needed a night away from sleeping on the boat, so we popped in hoping they had a room. The guy working the front desk was so incredibly friendly and accomodating and he secured a nice suite for us to get some much needed shuteye. The room was clean and orderly, and had strong A/C (a must have for us spoiled Americans). Would highly recommend.

Our second visit to Porto Klaras in 2 years and as last time, everything was splendid! The view from our balcony room over the small harbour and town was wonderfully relaxing. Yiannis and his father were very welcoming and helpful as always and there was literally nothing to complain about! A rare treat which we were looking forward to and did not disappoint.
