We visited this hotel to experience the assocated white water rafting through Brain Waves which is based at the hotel. The hotel owners showed us the rooms after our rafting which were spacious, comfortable, new and good value. We stayed on to have lunch which was superb real food at a great price. The chicken (which was quite unlike all the processed chicken we are accustomed to) was reared by the Grandmother and was wonderful. We thouroughly recommend a stay here encorporated by white water rafting or kayaking and eating at the hotel. It is right on the edge of beautiful unspoilt countryside and the village of Karataima is just charming. It is easy access to the motorway at Megalopoli. The hotel and water rafting staff were all charming and so helpful. The whole experience was something not to be missed!

One of the best family run hotels we have ever stayed. Clean rooms, lovely views, very kind personnel, not pretentious at all. Good value for our money. Breakfast was great and I vividly encourage guests to taste their cuisine. It is delicious and at great prices. No wonder why locals prefer it when dining out.
I have already stayed there twice and had the reception of my daugther's christening in this hotel, since my husband originates from this area.
Can't wait for winter to come to pay another visit to this lovely place!

This new & beautiful hotel is as lovely inside as out. Built by the owners with obvious pride and outstanding craftsmanship, the quality of the rooms & common space far exceeds what one normally sees in Greece. The exterior of the buildings is the beautiful stone so common in the villages of this area, & the grounds are well-cared for. Beautifully & tastefully designed & appointed, the rooms are large & comfortable, with large beds with down comforters & wonderful cloud-like pillows. Rooms boast beautiful woodwork & cabinetry, wood floors, beautifully tiled bathrooms, central heat. The common area has comfortable sofas & chairs as well as tables, a large veranda (for warmer weather!), and an unobstructed view across this beautiful river valley. The restaurant, with its crackling fire in winter, offers simple but delicious -- and very reasonable! -- dinners, using all fresh ingredients grown by the family. Definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed in Greece!

Very nice, quiet and cozy. Large room w plenty of sun. Quite rooms though cold as heat is turned on certain times… not a big issue. I just like it warmer. Maybe they could have the a/c control for extra heat when needed? Fireplace had no wood… we didn’t ask but weren’t told we could use it. Large bed and super duvet. Nice soft towels in big bathroom. We were actually pleasantly surprised. The people at reception and in breakfast/bar areas were very polite and helpful. Fireplace in lounge was roaring so we warmed up there with a local mountain tea w honey! Mattress is a bit hard. Balcony is comfy and nice valley view. Breakfast is basic but good enough for the 5 tables we were.
