We'd driven down from Monodendri in Epirus, taken the ferry across the Gulf of Corinth - the ferry costs 6 euros, the bridge 15, and tried to find our way off the so-called "autoroute" at Diakofto, which is difficult as most exits are closed with road works. Arriving at the Hotel Lemonies was a relief. The proprietor and his wife...

We stayed en route from Athens to Patras in our lorry. Great value, no frills but very friendly owners (we are still using the lemons Mr Yaniss encouraged us to pick from the back garden) Highly recomended

I have just returned from my vacations in Diakofto. It is a quiet village in peloponese, Hellas. I stayed there for about 10 days and slept in the "hotel Lemonies". It is a very nice and quiet hotel about 150 meters from tha train station and 200 meters from the beach (although the best beach is 2 km away, but...
