I arrived in Olympia on a Saturday, too late to see the archeological site and then realized the next day was Easter Sunday. Nothing would be open in this little Greek town.I resigned myself to a boring day of wandering around a nearly shuttered town and trying to scrounge up a meal. When I came down from my room I...

Very nice and tidy hotel. Situated in the centre of the village. Close to restaurant by walk. Very calm. The beds were very comfortable and big rooms with clean bathroom. Breakfast was served with fresh pressed juice and with homemade marmelade. We would happily come back!

Our family of five and one friend spent one night at the Hotel Pelops while visiting the archaelogical site. The hotel is an easy 10-15 minute walk to the site through the very tourist friendly town. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, while not luxurious. The hosts, Theo and Suzanna, have earned their great reputation for hospitality, offering good restaurant...

The host and hostess are wonderful. Suzanna, one of the owners, is very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Suzanna's husband, is also very helpful The room is clean, and a great value. Highly recommended. The room is not luxurious but a great value for the money. The breakfast was very plentiful and tasty.

We had a good time staying in the Pelops hotel. The building is beautiful, the hosts are very nice and helpful, the room is spacious, and the breakfast is good (real orange juice). Nice to have coffee and tea in the room (rare in Greece). I am a little less enthusiastic about the bed, and the heating/ventilation system makes quite...

We got to hotel Pelops around 7:15pm and were greeted and given a quick map of the town. A space heater was provided which was more than adequate for the room. The bathroom was clean and relatively modern. The bed was very comfortable. Also Susanna(owner) showed us where the best cheese pies were in all of Greece.

Excellent hosts. Great location. Nice room. My son was unwell and the really looked after him so well. They went out of their way to help. It is run by an Australian lady Suzanne and her husband Theo. They were just fantastic.

We had an excellent stay. We arranged in advance to take a cooking class after we saw the sights, and it was one of the highlights of our 10 days in Greece. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Nice, comfy, big bed, decent room, even has a coffee maker! Good breakfast. Best thing about this place is the host and owner, Theo. He gave us advice on where to eat in town, where to visit in the Peloponnese, and even let us check out late in the afternoon so we could spend the day sightseeing.

This hotel is nothing special: the room was clean but bare bones, the breakfast was mediocre at best, and the decor is badly in need of "refreshing"; still, it's an inexpensive place to stay and the owner was quite helpful with suggestions of restaurants. One note: be aware that the mediocre breakfast (at best) is not free, and runs six...
