If you just need a bed to spend the night then its ok. Old showers with no water pressure in my room. Hotel is in need of rennovation rooms are just ok location is fine very central in Sparta. Breakfast and service staff were acceptable. I would not stay there again unless there is no other option available.

I stay here with my girlfriend and a couple of our friends in the night of August 15th. We reserved a quadruple room (for budget reasons), but the director of the hotel gives is the same two double rooms in order to let us have more comfort at the same price! The hotel is in a good position, near the...

Resting on its laurels from past splendour, the Sparta Inn is now the sort of hotel where the carpet sticks to your feet. An acrid smell of smoke permeates the corridors, bedrooms and public areas (where smoking seems to be tolerated). The much-publicised swimming pools are not in use, and have fallen into disrepair, as has the 'roof terrace with...

One is not allowed to use bad language on Trip Advisor, pity really because I would dearly love to use some Anglo-Saxon expletives. Where does one start? Let's give it some positives first, the staff were very helpful But! The sheets were clean but dubious, the furniture looked like it came out of a museum of well worn Deal made...

I'm not the most demanding guest, I only expect a nice bed and a fair return for the money I pay and that's what I got at Sparta Inn. I do think the hotel is not run very enthusiastically - the swimming pool looked nice but it was not in use (it would have been much appreciated), air conditioning was...

This is an old hotel of basic facilities. We were a family of 5 people and it was good for a night. Breakfast was really good. Kind and helpful staff. The area is not noisy at all. You can easily find a parking space. Not cheap not expensive. I would choose again.

We stayed here after the Spartathlon which takes place in September. We had a very basic room but it was very convenient for the centre of Sparta, which is a nice little town. Breakfast was again, basic, but good.

After staying here all I can say is , if this is the only hotel you can afford while travelling, you shouldn't be travelling at all. This place is so old, air conditioning doesn't work, can't turn the sink on without the whole bathroom filling with water, the beds are so uncomfortable, and overall the hotel looks like it's where...
