I stayed with friends for one night . Perfectly clean, fridge and kettle ,plus tea and coffee included, good sleeping quality, good value . One minute from harbour without steps makes it a perfect spot ,if you travel by boat that does not offer too many beds. Recommended

We stayed 2 nights in Alkionides Pension in September, it is well located in Hydra, the courtyard is nice and I am sure the above ground rooms are perfectly fine BUT Stella took our money for what you think is one of the rooms in the photos and when we got there we were put in the basement with essentially...

This hotel is very well located - just two minutes from the harbour. The rooms are very nice and very well maintained, with a nice courtyard. And the staff is very helpful when required, unobtrusive otherwise.

I stayed here for two nights and had a great stay. The room was clean but a little small. Everything was perfect , really close to the port and because you have to walk with bags this is a big plus. Only downside for me was the shower- it's one of those hand held plastic kinds and really not great.

The Pension is fairly easy to find - a 2 minute walk from the front. A lovely little retreat, very quiet and peaceful. The courtyard is identical to the pictures advertised. When you enter there is no reception - just shout "Hello" and Stella will come to greet you. The room was clean with effective air conditioning and fridge. No...

We had a spacious 3 person room that opened into a charming courtyard conveniently positioned a short walk from the harbour. Stella, the owner was such a pleasure. They lost a star because our AC wouldn't work the first night, a big deal with Greek temps in Aug! We slept with the door open and Stella sorted it out first...

After taking the wrong turn we eventually found this place. It looks exactly like the pictures, a beautiful courtyard with rooms coming off. The owner, Stella, can be found by simply just calling her name. We couldn't get into our rooms until 2pm so left our bags and went for a wander around the town. When we returned the room...

Alkionides pension is located 2 minutes from the port, the rooms are nice and cozy, the host is very friendly and helpful, there was every day room cleaning, and the price, in contrast with most pensions in Hydra, was very good.

Alkionides pension is a small pension tucked away in the alleys of Hydra Town. A two minute walk takes you to the harbour, where all the action is. Stella, the owner, is very friendly and helpful, and she helps with all sorts of information about Hydra, such as where to have breakfast, good Greek restaurants in the area etc. The...

We stayed at Alkionides Pension in September, 2014. Prior to our arrival we had contacted the owner, Stella, to let her know that we would be arriving late in the evening. When we entered the courtyard we were met by her husband who was patiently waiting for us. He immediately showed us to our room and pointed out the various...
