Hotel Saron is a family run boutique style hotel with great facilities. But more than that the family are just lovely, caring people who go the extra mile to help you. Alex and Catherine made us so welcome and Maria cooks super eggs!! We booked initially for 5 nights but returned for a further 4 nights as we loved Poros...

The first thing to say about hotel Saron is the fabulous location. It's right in the centre of Poros Town underneath the clock tower. The boats across to the Pelopenesse and other beaches moor outside. At night it is very lively with bars, cafés and restaurants all along the front. We were slightly concerned that due to its central location...

I stayed in this hotel from 18-19/6 2016. The room was very small in the back but i still had to pay full prize. But the problem is that i forgot some things very deer to me in the hotel room in the morning when i left! I have sent two mails and a facebookrequest to the hotel. But they...

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room had a wonderful view across the sea to Peloponnesos, with a balcony. Efficient air conditioning. Good breakfast with several things to choose from: eggs, bacon, fruit, bread, yoghurt and other things. The room was nice and comfortable with vintage style furniture. Only complaints are the slightly too hard beds and...

Clean rooms. Very helpful staff. Breakfast buffet includes bacon and eggs if you wish. Fabulous view from balcony in front rooms. Very close to where the Flying Cats/Dolphins stop. Wi-Fi shaky, especially on third floor (otherwise I would have rated it 5). I forgot my passport and the staff sent it with the next ferry to Athens.

Taken a while to get round to this review as we have had an eventful few months, however, I was determined to make sure we took the opportunity to sing it's praises. We booked directly with the hotel via email a few weeks before we travelled and were impressed by the speedy and efficient reply fro Alex the owners son....

We came to Poros 30 years ago for our honeymoon and decided to come back again to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We chose to stay in the Hotel Saron as we wanted to be in the main town. The hotel was delightful and Katerina and her 2 sons (Dimitri & Alex) couldn't have been more helpful to us. We...

Have stayed here several times over the last few years. The owners and staff are always friendly, helpful and pleasant. Always book rooms at the front with balcony to catch the lovely view of the sea and Galatas opposite. Enjoy watching the hustle and bustle in the Port. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable, the front rooms tend to be...

Hotel Saron is full of character and a pleasure to stay in. The Hotel is family run and extremely friendly. It has a great history behind it and the sea views are one of a kind. The scenery is breathtaking. This has been one of the nicest places I have stayed in. It is highly recommended.

The Hotel Saron is perfectly located only a few minutes walk from the ferry and exactly opposite to the hydrofoils to Piraeus and the other islands. Adding to the excellent location is the fact that the hotel faces the legendary "Koimomeni" mountain, a sight that must be experienced! Nothing beats watching the sun set from the sea-view rooms at Hotel...
