Have stayed in Troulos Bay with the family in August over the years and have enjoyed exploring the narrow winding paths of the Plakes area of the Skiathos Old town. Hotel Villa Orsa was recommended by some locals. Small boutique hotel, out of the way with awesome views. Very friendly at all times. Great breakfast on the beautiful terrace, overlooking... More

It was wonderful to go back to the Villa Orsa, particularly since the family have taken over the running of this small but perfectly charming hotel. Monica was there to greet us, and although we arrived much too early, sat us down with coffee, orange juice and water in the terrace overlooking the sea while our room was made ready.... More

We stayed here for around 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious and clean, the view from the balcony out to Plakes and the sea is just so amazing. Breakfast was very good with an amazing view that made it that much more amazing. The hotel is a little out of the way so it's nice... More

If it wasn't for the fact that the rates are very affordable and the view is breathtaking, I'd probably been a tad disappointed. In fairness, we managed to book the last of the rooms at the very last minute before setting out on holidays. The room smells funny because there are patches of damp. The breakfast is average, with the... More

Orsa and her staff are wonderful. Loved the breakfast - perfect setting with great food. We stayed in room ten - lovely corner room with a breath taking view. Short walk to a perfect funky town - a few stairs to walk up and down - so you need to be reasonably mobile. Check out open air theater see Mama... More

This was our second stay at this wonderful hidden gem . We stumbled on it 4 years ago whilst walking to Plaka bar, went back to stay 3 years ago and again this year taking friends with us. We were not disappointed , we had the best views with balcony with sun beds and wonderful marble seating . The hotel... More

This hotel is very close to the main harbour but tucked away in the old town in the quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean. There is marble everywhere even the bathroom walls were marble. Ornate light fittings and balcony. The view we had overlooking the sea was great. Breakfast outside on the terrace... More

You will find it in a typical greek narrow street, builded on cliff with breathtaking view. All were excellent except breakfast (it was a little poor). In general, our stay was a good experience. Recommended for families and couples!

It may take a plane, car, ferry and a short hike to find Villa Orsa but is totally worth it to find this gem on Skiathos! My friends and I from California love the beach life and swimming! Here we felt like pampered mermaids. Orsa, herself, is kind, helpful and has such a beautiful soul that she makes you feel... More
