This was my first visit to Skiathos but the family I went with have been there 9 times!! It is a beautiful island and it has a special something about it. The beaches are beautiful, especially banana beach which we fell in love with. The people are welcoming and friendly. Although we went in the last week of the season,... More

We stayed at Filokalia with our 2 daughters for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The apartments are situated up a little lane just a few minutes from the road. Everything about the apartments is just terrific. They are spotlessly clean and the gardens are really well looked after. Shellina takes care of anything and everything from cooking a... More

The self catering apartments are located on a quite steeply sloping hillside. Apartments 19 & 20 being the highest. However once the climb up the slope has been accomplished the views are lovely and the star filled sky at night is incredible. The room was serviced daily, towels were replaced every other day and the sheets and shower curtain was... More

Another lovey 2 weeks stay at Filokalia with the same excellent standards we received on previous visits. The rooms are extremely clean and bedding and towels changed on a very regular basis. Lovely pool area recreational areas with such well kept gardens providing a really lovely environment. Limes, pomegranites and grapes adorn the trees. The food was again up a... More

Excellent once again, can only say good things about filokalia and a big thank you to Lena the lady who keeps our rooms spotlessly clean. We took mother in law with us this year and she would love to go back next year given the opportunity to.

We went to the Filokalia in 2010 and fell in love with it and unfortunately have not been able to get back until now - And it's great that things haven't changed and are just as good as ever. Shellina is the perfect host - always willing to help, she also runs the whole pool area and even in hectic... More

We have just returned from an amazing week at Filokalia. I've stayed with my family before but it was my boyfriends first time here after a trip to Skiathos last year where we were too late to get a room at Filokalia! The atmosphere and the people at Filokalia are what make it so fantastic. We have stayed in other... More

We have just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at the Filokalia. The hotel is just perfect, with a very inviting pool and plenty of sunbeds to lounge on and catch some sun. The hotel is run by a very lovely lady called Shellina who makes you feel so welcome and will do anything for you. The pool bar serves... More
