I should have read the previous reviews on this hotel as they are pretty accurate. The hotel needs to identify their target visitor better. All amenities are meant for a chic, trendy, adult-only hotel but surprise, there are families with toddlers and kids. The pool...More
This hotel is simply superb! A great atmosphere, excellent friendly staff, modern comfortable rooms. The only slight issue - the blinds could be a bit darker. We were in Copenhagen at mid summer, and the room was in bright daylight by 4.30 am. The central...More
A cozy place. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff the receptionist, dinning room and housekeeping are accommodating and very polite. The location is very close and central to town. I enjoyed the 5 day stay.
This is probably the longest review I have ever written on TripAdvisor ! This hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel. It’s identity is confusing, it’s wanting to be hip and fashionable, music slightly too pumping at all times of day in all areas....More
I am a big fan of the Guldsmeden hotels and was very excited to try out their first 5 star hotel.

This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding
neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
