Wakeup Copenhagen is located within a 10 minute walk from train station and 20 minute walk from the city centre. The hotel is also a stop off point for the sightseeing tours - handy for transport to and from your hotel and city centre. The hotel is modern, clean and equipped with your basic facilities. The rooms were clean, basic,...

Standard hotel. The lift from the street to the lobby was extremely slow so I had to carry the luggage on the stairs. Within walking distance from the city center. Poor breakfast, some bread and salami, I would have expected some sweet pastries. Clean.

Dear Ester C, Thank you for your review of our hotel. We are sorry to hear that you had to wait for the elevator. We do have four elevators so normally our guest shouldn't wait for it. We are a 2 star hotel with a cold continental breakfast for only DKK 80 per person. If you wish a big breakfast...

Overall a decent stay at this hotel, which was admittedly one of the cheapest places on offer when we booked (quite last minute) and that should probably be borne in mind when reading the review. Positives: clean; relatively good location (20 minute walk into the centre of town, 10 minutes to the central station so easy to get to/from the...

It's very basic room, as reflected in price. It was clean and location was good next to train station. They have a luggage locker room if you're stuck after/before check in. Modern feel. Just no kettle

Clean, quiet and well equipped hotel. My room was a standard double with an onsuite and views out to the north-east over the river. The room felt small, with a double bed, onsuite and small desk and that's pretty much it. No fridge, no drink making facilities, and not even a wardrobe. Breakfast is simple and adequate choice of cold...

Stayed there 2 nights mid-week. We had a Sky Room which was tiny but that did not matter as we were there to see the city. Bed very comfortable, modern tv, great power shower. Continental breakfast ok but nothing special. Location about 10 minutes walk from central train station, we walked everywhere but we do like walking! Probably 20-30 minutes...

The hotel is really nice. It looks like a new building, clean, quiet, excellent location (5min walking to the central station and 5min cycling to the center). Rooms are very small but functional. it´s important to bring from home toiletries because they just sadly offered a soap and a packet of shower gel for two people. Also there are lockers...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
