CPH Living is basically a houseboat on a large canal in downtown Copenhagen. I thought it was going to be among the pretty brightly-colored old houses along the canals, but instead it was directly below a busy thoroughfare and smack in front of construction of a new bridge. The place was clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. The...

After a bit of searching on the internet we decided to stay at this charming boat hotel. We received our checkin information by email and everything went really smooth. Opening the door of our room and seeing this spectacular view was so nice. We stayed 4 nights and for us the location was TOP. Friendly staff, a room with 'a'...

Lovely-small boat, having extremely convenient and comfortable rooms, with nice full-window views to the river. It is in a walking distance to down town ( 10 min walk to Tivoli and ..), while being in calm and peaceful area. They offer a small but sufficient breakfast, nothing fancy, but enough... All and all, i really enjoyed staying there, and I...

First and foremost, this is a comfortable hotel that happens to be floating. A floor-to-ceiling window looked over the water (blinds pull up from below for privacy). Comfortable bed; good wifi; nice shower. Surprisingly tasty breakfast, given the straightforward presentation. There's a small "wheelhouse"-like structure at the top with a good view, even in the rain/cold. Location is a bit...

CPH LIving was our home for nine nights beginning November 18 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location: CPH Living is located between the Langebro Bridge and the Circle Bridge in Christianshavn. From here all of central Copenhagen is easily reached by foot or bike and Christianhavn, with a multitude of bars, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and interesting sights, are...

We weren’t quite sure what to expect when we stayed here for 3 nights in November. But we needn’t have worried, this is a genuine boutique hotel with no comparison! If you’re looking for standard hotel and need the whole list of hotel luxuries then this isn’t for you. But if you like quirky, friendly and very comfortable then give...

Me and my Husband stayed at CPH Living for two nights in October 2016. Staying on a boat sure was a unique experience. One of the nights the weather was extremely windy, and you could feel the boat rocking quite a bit. Not enough to get you seasick or anything, but still. The rooms were nice and clean, maybe a...

Made a nice change from the usual city hotels - and a bit more space. Our room (#5) was clean and comfortable with contemporary furniture and a nice shower room. Great views across the river - shame about the building site opposite, but not the fault of the hotel. The rooms have no minibar fridge, but there is a communal...

The hotel is a boat on the water in the canal, so it is a very unique experience. The view from the room is very pretty, and we enjoyed it a lot. They have a nice terrace on top that if it's warm you have a great view of the water. Staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English....

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
