Very convenient for Central Station and attractions for the Copenhagen experience
Excellent breakfast with many choices, good and precise service at reception
Good sized room and tea/coffee making facilities
Grand Hotel is located ideally near Central Railway station and Tivoli. They say Grand Hotel is 4 stars, but 3 stars is reality. Room rates are still 4 stars. "Superior room" needs renovation, torn bathroom door and dirty Windows.
I travel to CPH for business every 2 months so I know the disappointing quality of many hotels in Copenhagen. This time, I was also disappointed by the "Grand" Hotel. I booked a Superior room (to avoid the Standard one) and was quite disappointed as...More

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
