Good hotel in a great location. Walk to most everything. Meatpacking district was nearby and good food at a price not as expensive as the rest of Copenhagen. Did a free walking tour and then navigated the city by ourselves. Sandemans guide Martin was great and had some useful suggestions. He was a bit pushy trying to get you to...

Very convenient location near station and many good restaurants, spotless quiet room, and friendly helpful staff made this a welcoming oasis from the gritty neighborhood. Good breakfast and complimentary wine hour completed a good stay.

The staff was outstanding, and being in walking distance to shops, food and Tivoli Gardens was a bonus. Everyone in our party had great big rooms. I has one so small you had to go outside to change your mind.

Needed a hotel for 2 nights before doing a Baltic cruise. This hotel is amazing! Decor quite quirky with lots of character. Colourful rooms heated floor in bathroom. Good quality toiletries and very comfortable beds. Each night at 5 pm you could have complimentary drinks in the lounge. The breakfasts are the best I've seen for a long time -...

Hotel was in a great location - 3 stops from the airport on a train. It was also easy walking distance to the downtown and main attractions in Copenhagen. Hotel staff were friendly and rooms recently remodelled. The room was tiny -just fit a double and little else. But the worse part was that the new "air conditioning " system...

Andersen Hotel is less than 300m walk to Copenhagen Central Station. and also within walking distance to the wonderful Meat Packing District - which sports some of the best restaurants in Copenhagen. The hotel room was surprisingly spacious for Copenhagen standards - and the bathroom also more than adequate in terms of space. Breakfast was a highlight each morning -...

I spent 4 nights at the Andersen ... staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, breakfasts were delicious and rooms delightfully modern. Close to Central Station and the meatpacking district which is "up and coming" in Copenhagen. I enjoyed the happy hour and the opportunity to meet other hotel guests and travellers over a glass of wine at the end of...

Thank you for your excellent feedback. Your recommendation is truly appreciated and we are happy to hear you enjoyed our Wine-Hour. We also rent bikes if you like to explore Copenhagen like a Dane. We look forward to welcome you back.

The rooms are a little too small, location is really good despite the strip joints and sex shops all around. Bed very comfortable, the individual duvets took a little getting used to. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast was good. Area is pretty active so you can't sleep with windows open because of noise. If you are going to the airport...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
