Beautiful 200 year old converted warehouse on the harbourside, with nice rooms, a good restaurant and great location. Everything about this hotel is a good standard, at a reasonable price. You are just round the corner to Nyhavn and close to the royal palace.

This hotel is in a wonderful location right on the water in Copenhagen---you instantly understand the port history of the city. The rooms are small, but I love the old beams that remain from the old building. There was a long line for breakfast and not enough tables which is clearly a problem. The breakfast buffet was fine but nothing...

Nicely re-purposed old trade building well located in downtown. Old massive wood beam structure showing in the hallways and in some of the rooms. Beautiful lobby, easy to find your way around when arriving and very concerned desk staff. If you are driving and park in their lot, make sure you buy a ticket at the outdoor machine or there...

The Hotel is located fantastically close enough to the town, 5 mins walk but still away to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The hotel has an old rustic feel and to be honest pictures do no do it justice! The rooms are large and full of character. The beds are also very comfortable, however we had a double twin which were...

This hotel is perfectly located to take in the wonderful city of Copenhagen. We visited just before Christmas when everything looked so pretty (so many fairy lights!) Glogg and Christmas beer could be found around every corner! The hotel is a very short walk to Nyhavn, Papiroen and close to major attractions like Little Mermaid and Tivoli Gardens too. Its...

We stayed at the Admiral as part of an Easyjet package and were very pleasantly surprised by our stay. The hotel is an old warehouse on the water and has lovely views of the Opera house. The staff were very friendly and warm. When the lady heard we were away child free for the weekend she upgraded us to a...

CAH is located in the port and you can enjoy great views from your room. The building was built in the 18th Century and sailing is really present on the decoration. The hotel mixes the tradition with modern times. Very friendly staff, charming environment and a good and complete breakfast (good quality and variety with the standard price for this...

I spent a lot of time reviewing hotel options in Copenhagen before settling on Admiral hotel. I have been on leisure stays in Copenhagen before and for some reason it seems hard to find a good hotel here. Admiral hotel is nicely located, but the room made me disappointed the moment I entered. I had made a reservation for a...

I recently stayed for four nights at this four star Copenhagen hotel. Having booked a standard room directly with the hotel, I was offered an up-grade, on arrival, to a more superior and larger room. I find this to be a common occurrence when you book directly on-line with the hotel in question, as oppose to using a third party,...

We booked this hotel for a city break, and were not sure what to expect. When we arrived we were upgraded to a junior suite and were impressed with how comfortable and spacious it was. The staff were friendly and ever so helpful whenever we contacted them. We also visited the restaurant Salt, and loved how relaxed the atmosphere was....

The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Next door to royal residence Amalienborg Palace and just a short walk from Nyhavn, this imposing 200-year-old former granary warehouse is one of the largest hotels in the city, with 366 rooms - but don't let that put you off. It may not be boutique but big can definitely be beautiful. Beyond the two cast iron canons at the entrance is a neon-pink bar (great for a pre-dinner tipple), while guests retire to rooms showing off classic Danish touches such as teak furniture, low ceilings and original wooden beams. Best of all are the panoramas across the water towards the city's shiny Opera House and Christiania: a view fit for royalty. ... more   less
