Good hotel I liked the feel and welcoming entrance and the court yard area, the rooms were very nice small but normal for Denmark, nice lady on reception helped moved us to new room when it got too loud on the street outside during the night to a back of hotel room. The breakfast looked good but was too expensive... More

Located 2 blocks from Central Station and Tivoli Gardens - many bus lines, attractions, and restaurants. The room was small (it's in Europe), but well equipped. My wife and I had one dinner at the hotel - very good and reasonable for the area.

Where to start? The cosy, welcoming foyer area where you can sit and read and feel like you're in your own lounge room. The restaurant cafe which serves delicious well cooked mainly organic food. Or the charming rooms (I had a superior single), decorated in an appealing combination of Scandi meets Bali. The room was spacious and well equipped. The... More

Very interesting place, some quite good, some not so good. Lots of puffy chairs and decorations in the entrance level (not so much a lobby). It worked for me. Good - Nice overall facility - Very close to main train station (1.5 blocks) This was very very helpful for my stay - Dedicated to eco-friendliness, but not too weird -... More

Stayed one night here, the hotel is located in a good position just round the corner from the main Train Station and a short walk from good bars and restaurants, there's a good rail and metro system for getting around or hire a bike to see the attractions, avoid the taxi it is expensive. I chose this Hotel because it... More

I booked one night in "Axel Guldsmeden" and I honestly regret it! I arrived to the hotel almost at 12:10 am. The recipients was a cold and she gave me the smallest room with the smallest bed I ever seen in the ground floor. which is room number 11. The view was basically 3 big green trash cans. I asked... Very cool quirky hotel with a cosy feel. Great location in the Vestboro district near lots of good restaurants and bars and an easy walk to the centre. Breakfast was fantastically delicious and healthy and I loved the array of comfy chairs around the lobby and the bar. Room was clean and comfortable with lots of 'eco' touches. Only downsides... Good central location and a buzzy feel. Very green credentials with windmills drawn on the light switches. Converted from an older building. Room fine but not huge. Excellent healthy breakfast and nice comfortable chairs in bar area.

the interior is the most stand out thing about this place. it very nicely designed so you feel like its very luxurious and every little detail is attended to. it has an expensive ethnic vibe to it. the bathrooms are super beautiful, and even the toiletries given for free are from luxurious french labels. the color scheme is very tan... Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
