We have just left after a couple of nights in this central hotel. I have reviewed this against how it markets itself and in my opinion it scored 5. Yes the rooms are very compact and the shower room tiny. In fairness if you are of generous proportion you may struggle. The rooms are spotless and the staff friendly with...

Although this is a budget hotel, I can warmly recommend it if you like cozy amotsphere and friendly staff. I was lucky enough to get a room at the 6th floor, although small, it was perfect. Tidy, nice furniture, great bed and splendid view.

Centrally located (approx. 750 m from Townhall and entrance to Strøget). Entrance of the hotel gives it some kind of grandeur. Rooms are VERY cramped and should be at least one and a half time as big, certainly when travelling as a couple! Certainly not advisable for the average business traveller, who needs some space to work from. Nice enough...

Well appointed room with option for in house breakfast available and well worth your choice for its inclusion. Enjoy a continental breakfast and especially the freshly baked Danish and cinnamon buns. Staff is very helpful in assisting their guests for tourist directions, available tours within the area, and restaurant choices within the immediate area. We enjoyed our stay which was...

Like the previous reviews we can only confirm the hotel is in a convenient position. 10 mins walk from central station and very easy to get on train from airport, the Danish people seem to all speak English and are extremely polite & willing to help. Across from station is the red hoppa bus stand which we used to get...

This hotel is in the best location being only a 10 minute walk from central station. It's in the main bus routes so you can get anywhere within minutes. Having said that it's easy to walk to many of the major sites including the Tivoli. The rooms themselves are small & modular but they do have everything you need (apart...

Five minute walk to the railway station and close to the meatpacking district. Loved the Instagram friendly stairwell, the "hygge" restaurant booths, Gammel Dansk bitter dram for breakfast and the fact it has Denmark's oldest lift. Friendly staff, and bike hire too which we used to cycle the 11km round trip to the Little Mermaid and back! Would happily return!

The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from Central Station. Once on the main road you can actually see the Hotel's red sign. We arrived mid-morning and was given our room immediately. There was free coffee/tea in reception along with Danish pastries and fruit. There is no key or card to lose as the doors are keypad operated with a...

Recently stayed at the Savoy after researching locations of usual tourist spots and to be near Copenhagen Forum to see Andrea Bocelli in Concert at the Copenhagen Forum. Never been to Denmark, don't speak the language but tend to do the groundwork to find way around unfamiliar cities. Travelling with backpack only, it was easy to navigate from the airport...

Staying in Indre By (Inner City)

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
