Copenhagen is an expensive city and hotels in Copenhagen are equally expensive. If having a clean place to stay that is convenient to the Nyhvan harbor then this is an acceptable place. But don't expect much.
I had a magnificent experience at the Hotel Maritime during my first trip to Copenhagen.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. After an overnight flight, I arrived before my luggage. Tired, cranky, and with nowhere else to go, I decided to just wait in...More
Bad attitudes of front desk staff.
Booked one room for 3 nights one month in advance, requesting explicitly ‘no ground floor’ on the booking requirement. They gave us a ground floor unit (only 3 units on ground floor in the whole hotel) facing rubbish bin...More

Thank you for your sharing your experience with us. I remember you quite well, and I would like to add the following comments. In your reservation, you requested a room on a high floor. The hotel was fully booked, and we were unable to provide...More
Small room was clean and comfortable enough. The location is excellent, walking distance from most of the top things to see in Copenhagen. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was above average for European hotel standards in my opinion.
This is a standard Copenhagen three star hotel. Beds of the narrow Scandinavian type, but clean. No fridge in the room, or anything for coffee-making. Good solid breakfast,
They were checking in arrivals after 15:00 because rooms were not ready, and some of the guests...More
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding
neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
