Pretty basic hotel with small bedrooms and tiny shower room, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was good range for the price. Our room overlooked the station and unfortunately was very noisy due to a large group of skateboarders partying in the street throughout the night. Don't know if we were unlucky or if it's a regular occurrence.

Good and very friendly service both on phone and in person. The room was small, bathroom a bit dirty, noise from the station - but hey! we needed a place to sleep and the beds were clean, the location is super perfect and the breakfast was quit good :) Best: *The staff *The location Worst: *location ;) Noise from the... Visiting Elsinore is truly a unique experience. It's an attractive, quaint, and culturally dynamic destination. Hotel Skandia is literally right outside the railway station. It looks a little unprepossessing on first impression - there is a Chinese Restaurant and a Bar on the ground floor, but the hotel is clean and solidly presented. It sits at the entrance to the... If you are looking for an older hotel that has not been updated to suit the pristine sensibilities of some travelers but that is clean, has your typical breakfast food, is reasonably priced, and is located within walking distance of most sights that most visitors would want to see in the city, then Hotel Skandia will meet your needs.

Booked a room over the net but misread the cancellation policy. So I cancelled FIVE minutes later. Still, they charged me for the full price. Wrote them and said this was not OK but they just told med they "have to follow the rules". But this is not following rules, this is just gread. A place to be avoided.

My friends and I ended up in this Hotel when we trying to find shelter from the nordic storm Gorm. Is a cheap hotel but very clean, the breakfast is very good and the staff is very kind and located very close from the ferry station. I believe this hotel is good for those who are travelling with low budget... More

This hotel has an excellent location as it is right across the street from the train station (and the ferry). However, it sometimes gets noisy outside when large groups arrive at or leave the station. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms spacious. Unfortunately, our bathroom was not equipped very well. The shower did not have glass doors as... More

We chose this hotel for its location near the railway station on our round trip in the Nordic countries this summer. Stay away!! The whole area was "infested" with drunk young Sweedish people. There were riots in the street just below our window, where a security guard was atacked in his car, and the police had to come and break... More

This is by far the worst place that we have ever stayed in! Crappy bed, broken bath where you can't fit, the TV was so small and in the far end of the room that we couldn't even see it from the bed! The only people who would find this hotel halfway okay can only be drunk teenagers from Sweden,... More
