We booked in for two nights in order to go to a local wedding, from the website/outside the hotel looked fine, however we were given a room just up the stairs from reception. This itself caused a few problems as we were woken up with someone checking in at 11:40pm virtually outside of our room, the member of staff doing... More

Dear Kelvin, just looking at the history of your booking, you amended your booking from 3 to 2 nights and then a further 2 nights to 1 night. As you will have known that we had firstly a 3 night minimum and then a 2 night minimum stay on all booking sites, which we waived in your favour. We were... More

The hotel wasn't as clean as it might have been (not too bad though); and it was a bit pricey for what was on offer. Parking was available, but rather convoluted! Weekend parking is about a mile away, this worked for me, and was much easier and cheaper than elsewhere, but did take some time to sort. Shower was a... More

Dear KPL147, many thanks for taking the time to write a review on your stay. We really do appreciate feedback being a small hotel and operation. We are truly dissapponted to hear that the hotel wasn't as clean as it might have been - so sorry - what could have been cleaner? as I will have to examine the housekeeper's... More

Nice location for this pretty good hotel. The service is very friendly and the living room very confortable. You can have drinks in their own bar. Great experience with the real Brighton taste. Cosy. they also have a special arrangement for the car park during weekends which can help.

I loved staying here. The owners are absolutely lovely. Very accommodating and knowledgeable on the area. Nothing too much trouble. Had a cooked breakfast every morning which was very good value for money. Each of us had a different room. One was a small double tucked away at the back of the hotel. It was really comfortable with everything I... More

We booked our romantic evening based on the photos shown on Hotels.com depicting four-poster beds and stunning views... to find room 308 (top floor) was tired, shabby; windows were not just painted (badly) shut but sealed! No airflow... I felt claustrophobic and dizzy. The bed had a surround/mock four-poster bed which my 8 year old students could have crafted better!... More

Clearly our hotel was not to your own taste, but guests often compliment us on how the height of the beds allow them to lie-in and look at the sea. We hope you found somewhere else to your liking and had a nice time in Brighton. Future guests might like to know that we are working through a refurbishment programme,... More

The Hotel is a very friendly run business. The room we had was very comfortable and had everything in it that we needed. It is also within easy walking distance to the town and of course the beach is just across the road. Parking was not a problem as there was a car park just up the road.
