The hostel is well-located between the train station and the city centre, so it's convenient to go both sides on foot. I have no problem with walking to the hostel with my big backpack from the train station. Nearby there's a grocery store which can definitely satisfy all your needs. The landlady is very nice, and she recommended two places...

A friend and I stayed here for two nights. Kerstin, the owner of the house the hostel is in, is friendly and recommends a couple restaurants/grocery stores in the area. We stayed in the room with two bunk-beds and had no issues with that arrangement - the room was decently sized and had a sink, table with chairs, and bookshelf....

I stayed here for one night while passing through Kiruna on my own. Kerstin was so welcoming and a great host. The place itself is clean, beds are comfy, there is a good kitchen, large communal space, good WiFi and a nice shower. The house is close to a supermarket, in easy walking distance from the bus station and close...

We hiked the trail from Abisko to Nikkaluokta with a tent, but ended up finishing two days earlier. We gave Kerstin a call and she told us there was plenty of place left. We ended up being the only guests at this time. Kerstin is very friendly and helpful. We payed 220 SEK a night, and slept in a sleeping...

Kerstin (the host) is very friendly and welcoming - the hostel itself is within her house and the dorm room was spacy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large dining area also! My only issue would be the lack of signage on approach to the hostel as there is nothing on the outside which identifies...

4 rooms with 13 beds on the ground floor, Kerstin, the owner, lives on the upper floor. So no party hotel but small groups or couples (one room with 2 beds) come to the second living room and kitchen of Kerstin. It is a typically red Swedish house, equipped with everything you need and it looks and feels really like...

This hostel is set in a lady's house. We stayed in the private room which had 2 single beds which could be pushed together to make a double bed for a couple. The room was spacious and well heated. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner is very sweet and accommodating, making sure we knew where good restaurants, supermarkets and...

We stayed in a dorm for 2 nights. It is a great location, walking distance from everything. The house is lovely, can be a bit noisy as it is a house but everyone is careful so it is nice. Bed were comfortable and our host was happy to please us. However the common bathroom was extremely small 1.5m2 but was...

The landlady is a really sweet woman. She handled my request really fast and she is very flexible (I had my key until 5pm). Bunk beds are okay, and you don't have to pay extra for bedlinnen when you brought your own sleeping bag. Kitchen was okay, not always the cleanest but worked perfectly. Did shower only once there, and...

We got a accomodation for a night at the end of March at the last minute. The friendly owner lives above with a few rooms on ground level.T he place is small ,very old fashioned but clean and cosy. It was a little noisy as we were staying in the room near the front door and people were up late...

“The room close to the kitchen is a bit louder”

“The room at the back of the house, (sleeps 4 in 2 x sets of bunkbeds) where we stayed leads onto the kitchen, which meant it could get a little noisier than the other rooms.”
