Big and clean kitchen but old and dirty facilities, not considerated staff. We are arranged a room at 3/F, which is near a storeroom under construction. Surrounded by noise from 8am. Also bad smell of the common toilet.

We both stayed at the hostel and had the restaurant's breakfast and lunch, and this was, hands down, the best hostel and food experience I've had so far. The rooms were standard hostel style, double bunks from IKEA, although maybe just a little fresher / higher standard than elsewhere. The real prize was the personnel though: they were super friendly... More

We spend just one night in the Hotel SPiS. There was good and quite cheap room for a 3 people. Good quality to the price. Only not nice smell in the bathroom. Besides everything ok: Wi-fi for free, tv, good breakfast, but not so much space if every guests come to eat. But food was fresh and nice taste, large... More

A really friendly staff that truly did that extra to make my stay memorable. I forgot my laptop and my handbag in the lobby when checking out and I got it delivered on my way to the train! Amazing! Great breakfast! Free Wifi! Nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back and try the restaurant next time.

There are not many hotels in Kiruna with a price good for backpackers. I booked this hotel pretty quick shortly into my research of the city. I think they have cheaper rooms with shared bathrooms. I booked the room with bathroom with 4 beds. Breakfast was ok. Of the few hotels I stayed in Finland and Sweden, I noticed in... More

We were hunting down the aurora borealis one night and ended up in Kiruna. We quickly made a reservation at this hotel (since it was the only option at that point) and we had a nice surprise. The room looked like a dorm room, and it brought back memories from college times. It was very clean and and we had... More

A nice hotel with a good price however when we arrived the staff looked confused with our booking. But at the end we got an upgrade to a better room which was worth the money. You get what you pay for simple as that!

I am traveling with two kids and there are not that many choices for a three-bed room. The SPiS City Hostel is one. The rooms are rather basic more like a youth hostel but functional. The place is clean and quiet and there is a guest kittchen in the basement. For one or two days this is a good choice.... More

Shower looks disquasting, toilets are dirty. Ventilation in our room didn't work, and there was horrible smell coming from the sink, so we had to close it for a night with a towel. The place itself is very badly maintained. Overpriced.
