The hotel is based in a charming old building in the centre of Malmo, just moments away from the central reail station with regular connections to Copenhagen. Much of the building retains its original, charming, features: for example, the spiral staircase giving access to other floors of the building, the atmospheric cellar restaurant in which breakfast is served and (in...

I stayed here for five nights in September 2013. The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from Malmo's main railway station and many shops, cafe's and restaurants nearby. The staff are very attentive and helpful and all speak English. The two downsides I experienced were, the de-lux room was very small and overlooked a courtyard serving the adjacent...

Malmö was more or less a stopover before catching a ferry the following morning; with this in mind we were only looking for something central and not too expensive. What a pleasant surprise, then, to end up in a lovely hotel with a bit of history and charm, smack-bang in the centre of town. The rooms we booked were tiny,...

I have to start with breakfast, not only for how delicious it was, but for where it is served -- in the enchanting cellar of the historic building. The public spaces are lovely, and the history lining the walls -- framed photos and documents -- make the building unique. The rooms (we had the standard double) are tiny, especially the...

I lived here in the summer of 2013, I was told that I got my room upgraded when I arrived, but in hindsight I wish they wouldn't have done that. I was placed right in the corner of a corridor, each time people passed the corned the floor creaked something awful. I had a room with a window facing the...

A really nice hotel in the very center. We had a std room, it was very cozy and nice, not like these boring and modern hotel chains... This hotel has a soul... The staff where very friendly and professional, they know what they are doing. Breakfast included all you need. Conclusion; Good hotel with descent prices. We would come back!!

Very nice looking hotel with a loads of history, loved the stories on the walls. Everything you need in Malmö is just around the corner. But we had room 101, witch is in the courtyard. it ´s otherwise newly renovated, so it looks clean and new (a bit dark), but don´t go there on summer. It has no A/C and...

Stayed here for just one night. A nice hotel with an interesting history. Staff pleasant enough, if not particularly friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, but a little dated decor wise, but I suppose that is to be expected given the age of the hotel. Probably the only hotel that I have stayed in with the history of a...

Wonderful! This historic building is full of wonder around every corner in the heart of Malmo. The staff were friendly and helpful, even to the point of rushing me out to park my car with a pass before completing check-in so that I wouldn't get a ticket (alas not quickly enough as I did receive a citation). But so worth...

Very helpful friendly staff and gracious setting. Our room was fresh, spacious and comfortable. A little hot on a summer's night, but there was a good fan provided. There is a little courtyard and nice salon to relax in. The breakfast room is a treat - a 700 year old cellar, and breakfast was generous and delicious. An interesting and...
