This hotel is charming and ideally located. We loved it. You can expect friendly capable staff willing to help. We had Room 421 which was very large but with no view. Also be prepared that the hotel is not air conditioned. We did not need it at all, but can imagine that if it were hot outside, it could be...

We recently stayed at the Diplomat hotel and highly enjoyed it! Location is fantastic. Architecture and character of the building excellent. Sea view rooms have indeed beautiful views but are charged more. Thanks to Sophie, one of the always helpful receptionists, we were able to be in a room with partial sea view that we thoroughly enjoyed.Thank you again Sophie!...

I wish I had more tme to explore this hotel, but I was only there one night. Staff were friendly in reception, not so much in breakfast room. The breakfast had a good choice of food and drink and it was nice to look out over the harbour. The decor is really interesting and the lift is a work of...

I can't help feeling that this place was a bit if style over substance. However it is in a fantastic location and has a nice feel about it. The bar area is noisy after 5pm until about 10pm. The rooms are if various sizes so you may need to decide what is important to you.. Ours was so small the...

My husband and I stayed at the Diplomat recently. We found the hotel to be old world charming. For example, the small gated elevator. The crowd here is more mature than young. Make sure when you reserve, you get a breakfast plan, otherwise you'll pay quite a bit for it. Nice breakfast, hot and cold. The room had robes and...

We had amazing stay but also partly because our room was outstanding (room 505). Walking distance to Old Town, beautiful sea view from the room windows. Breakfast was good and coffee excellent. Very friendly service.

Lots of stairs as you enter and no doormen to help with the bags so pack light and have a strong person as a travel companion. Front desk service is satisfactory though you do get the feeling that they think you're wasting their time. Had to go there 3 times because of key cards that weren't working so this seems...

Very nice hotel, would rate this as the 2nd best in Stockholm after Grand Hotel Stockholm, before Sheraton and Nobis. Personal rooms, everything working nicely, classic style. Nice bar as well. Always friendly service.

The hotel is right on the waterfront with easy access to all of the main attractions and old town Stockholm. The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly, but missed an opportunity for great customer service when they did not communicate to the new staff that we were waiting for our room to become available when the staff changed. As...

Great hotel in a beautiful building and excellent location. The bed was very comfortable and our little balcony had lovely views of the city. Th rooms are on the smaller side, but the charm of the building and the location make up for it! Great breakfast as well. I would stay here again!
