Located on Strandvagen, the grand avenue next to the tour boat docks, the hotel offers canal facing rooms that delighted us. Service was limited but staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel cafe was good and very congenial but Scandinavian prices are not for the faint-hearted!

I can't comment on the hotel generally because we were staying elsewhere, but have to post about Karl Shuman who was managing the intimate and cosy cocktail bar. Excellent service from the charming and entertaining Karl. We enjoyed the experience so much that we came...More
With its high-end shopping facilities and Michelin-starred restaurants, Östermalm is definitely the poshest part of central Stockholm. Here you will find Stockholm’s most majestic residential buildings, a beautiful market hall from 1888 displaying gourmet foods from around the world and the Swedish Royal Dramatic Theatre with its awe-inspiring architecture. At night, legendary nightclubs make the perfect
location to observe the natives (and those aspiring to become natives of this exclusive neighborhood) in their natural habitat and to enjoy the latest produce of the Swedish house music scene.

Thank you for your message. At the moment we have our Summer offer available at some dates in July, you can search for specific dates to see what offers are availble on our website. If you are very sensitive to sound, I would recommend you to reserve a room facing the courtyard, as the sea view rooms are facing the street. Our courtyard rooms are facing either the courtyard at the back of the hotel, or the Esplanad, a courtyard on the side of the hotel, which might give you glimpse of Strandvägen. Please do not hesitate to Contact our reservations team or visit our website if you wish to make a reservation or if you have any further questions. We hope to welcome you to Hotel Diplomat in July!
