The location was perfect for catching the different boat tours around the harbour. There was a very comfortable sitting lounge for guests, and tea and coffee was always available - which was lovely. It seems like a really nice, friendly run, small business and staff are really helpful. The breakfast chef was very cheery and welcoming. It was also in...

We stayed at this hotel as a family in the 1st week of August. The hotel has a lot of character, it is quite old and some of the previous reviews indicated that. we found this a clean hotel and quite adequate for our 4 day stay. The views from the room we had across the bay were very nice....

Because we missed a flight connection we really didn't get to spend the night here but we did get to rest up a little and have an excellent breakfast. Carina at the front desk was very gracious and helpful. The location of this hotel is hard to beat. It is within easy walking distance of many of the touist attractions...

My family had stayed here before and appreciated the location. We were in Sweden to sail and it was PERFECT location, for so many reasons. Loved that is was on the water (across a parkway) and in a great part of the city, with tons of places to visit nearby (Vasa, Junigarten, Skansen, ABBA, palace, military museum, history museum, etc.). The...

The picture showing the front of hotel is some what misleading as we expected a more elegant presentation on the inside. Lugging up a big suitcase on a spiral staircase was a workout-no elevator no bellman. The location is the trump card for this hotel which made up for the other "unique findings. Our room was a mismatched collection of what...

We spent 4 days in this hotel. The location is ideal, right on Strandvagen, a lovely area full of bars and restaurants and with lovely views to the water. Close to public transport. The hotel is quirky but we liked it. It has lovely public areas to sit and the breakfast was excellent. The staff are very friendly. The only...

The hotel is situated at the old building and does not have a lift but it is only 2 floors. The pluses are central location, very helpful and friendly staff, decent breakfast, clean rooms and the hotel itself, comfortable beds(I stayed in 4 different rooms and everywhere was clean and comfortable). Only thing I missed English speaking news on tv...

Booked a room in a quiet position overlooking the courtyard & we were upgraded at no extra expense on our arrival. The hotel is in an excellent position for all transport links - buses, ferries, underground trains all a few minutes away. All the staff we met were extremely courteous and helpful. Excellent breakfast - a good choice and constantly...
