Check in was fast and the two women at the front were so friendly and helpful. Our room is small, but we ordered a small room. It is big enough and has a lot of charm. The location is great, on the water. Wonderful ful breakfast included and they even have tea/ coffee and cookies and muffins in the afternoon....

When Stockholm renewed the facade of östermalm's wharf more than a hundred years ago, they build the nobel houses of the Strandvägen like a Parisienne Avenue. One of those kindly preserved buildings is now Hotel Esplanade. Outside and inside you feel the charming old times. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and in a good state....

This hotel is very strategically l located on one of the most "fashionable" streets in Stockholm. The room was comfortable, without any frills but clean and included "what you need". The interior tries to mirror the "epoque" of the building and quite far from what you might call Scandinavian design, but it fits! Nevertheless, the room was quite noicy, hearing...

This is a small hotel with great location at "Strandvägen" in the posh area (Östermalm) of Stockholm. From here you are close to almost everything in the city: shopping, Skansen, museums, Djurgården etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Greate servise, very tasty breakfast. For all day you have possibility to have free cap of coffe or tea with some sweets.Very clean. Lokation is comfortable to get many interesting places. But a little noisy in some rooms. Room size is not big, but you have everything for comfortable staying.

WE booked this through Hotels.com or bookings.com using some points we had accumulated so we got a big discount on one of our two nights. We checked the website and booked a Superior Double room (see photo from the hotel wespace.bsite). It says this room has furniture designed by Josef Frank, for sleeping working and relaxing, some with balconies facing...

Would highly recommend this for its location on gorgeous Strandvagen, and the helpful staff ( booked us a taxi to airport at a very advantageous price...) They even had English tea! ( a relative rarity in Stockholm)

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. The exterior is beautiful, a 19th century masterpiece. Inside, the 1st floor lounge offers comfortable easy chairs and a balcony from which to watch the ferries come and go across the sparkling water. Breakfast is good, and there is free tea and coffee on offer throughout the day. Bedrooms vary depending on what you...

In town for a family wedding, stayed here with other family. What a jewel of old world charm. Location is superb, staff is great, breakfast was fresh and well displayed every morning. The staff was a great help from a language perspective, they would make phone calls for us to help with reservations and transportation. I would ask for a...
