Having a nice hotel in a nice location is great. Hiring people who like what they do is another thing. What a disappointment.
Checkin was only about administrative stuff. No smile, didn’t feel that much welcome. On the second day, I asked the reception staff...More
It is a cosy hotel close to the Central Station and locations reminding of the great writer! A really good option for families as there is a nice park just on front of it.

Stayed at the hotel for one night and with no doubt, I could say that it was a perfect choice considering the location, quality and price, and overall atmosphere which has been very cosy and welcoming. The hotel is in the heart of the city...More

Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s
actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.

Yes, Take the airport shuttle bus/train to the central station. It is walking distance form there. Beware of taxi though Stockholm is famous for taxi cheats. On the taxi window there would be sticker saying 550, 399 etc. If you have to take a taxi try finding one with lowest number probably 395 or 350 something like that.
