Nice place to stay in the proximity of the city center. All on walking distance or with the public transport. Cosy hotel rooms, looks like a family business. Friendly staff and good breakfast buffet. Drinks are expensive, like everywhere in Sweden.
Had booked the hotel online, but wanted to make sure that I had a room so I also sent a separate e-mail asking for confirmation. I got a reply saying that everything was ok. The night I was supposed to come I got a SMS...More
I stayed in this hotel last year while it was still called Clas På Hörnet. It was renovated this year and got a new name. I booked it because I had only 4 days of vacation that year and I wanted something really good for...More
Fenced in by trafficked streets and backyards in outer Vasastan this B&B could have been a metropolitan oasis from the good old days, with authentic charm and atmosphere. Clas pa Hörnet does have authentic atmosphere, maybe even too much of it. The "old days look"...More

Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s
actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
