This "hotel" is better seen as an upmarket hostel. It is located at the heart of the University and the Old Town and therefore very convenient. It appears to staffed by students from the university who have differing abilities and aervice standards. The rooms are adequate and with basic provision. The breakfast was adequate but was cramped due to inadequate... More

I am very statisfied with this hotel. Staff are friendly and room was big enough and warm. very close to the cathedral and the castle. I liked walking around the hotel. I had a conference at the University and the location was only 8 mins away from the hotel. The breakfast was very good with cakes tasted as if they... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Well worth staying here. Friendly and helpful staff, rooms were clean and quiet (noting there is a bit of road noise given our room overlooked the road). Really good location. Able to walk to the university library, into the main part of the city and also about a 15 minute walk to the train... More

The charming Akademihotellet is set close to the centre of old Uppsala, close by to the great cathedral and castle and library. The rooms are small but adequate, and the bathroom is on the tiny side. But there are lots of warm light cosy spots to sit and read, and tea and coffee are available 24 hours. Staff are very friendly... More

I paid £95 / SEK 1,052 for a two night weekend stay in a single room with shared shower, including breakfast. However, I was given a single room with en-suite. I asked about this and was told that this can happen depending on demand for other rooms. The hotel is located next to the cathedral and castle and is a... More

I had a well equipped room -very big for a single - and good breakfasts in a handy and inexpensive place. There's even a cute road sign for a children's story character at the end of the road. The reception staff were nice and helpful.

Well positioned in the center of this quaint town, it offers its private parking area. Most accommodation in this area is not equipped for high temperatures and rooms tend to become a bit too hot. If you request a room on the side of the garden ( as opposed to the man road) you can open the window and it... More

Small, nice and cosy hotell in the best part of Uppsala near the university, Carolina Rediviva and the dome. Basic services, nice staff, good value for money. This is also Pelle Svanlös-land, corner of Öfre Slottsgatan and Åsgränd!

We have spent a fairly pleasing week in this homely hotel near Uppsala domkyrka. Everything was simple, clean and functional. Substantial breakfast, coffee&cookies and smiling staff at any time! If we would go to Uppsala once again, we know exactly where to accommodate. Jarmila&Vladimir_Prague

We stayed for one night in Uppsala and this hotel's location was absolutely central , right behind the Cathedral with breath-taking scenery. Room was clean and cozy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic but lovely.
