I have stayed at this hotel twice in 2015 with my family to visit our daughter who stayed in Uppsala for 6 months. I requested a room with 3 beds long in advance and when we arrived, we only had 2 beds and they had to bring a third bed that we had to prepare and that was totally uncomfortable,...

Hotel Uppsala was one of the nicer hotels I visited while I was in Europe. The staff were amazing; extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and cozy, with a nice buffet breakfast. Very central. It seems to be located right in the middle of all the main tourist attractions. A 5 minute walk in any direction and...

It was in spring and my choice had to be this hotel because I booked my package from Expedia. The location is excellent, I was very afraid that it was going to be a bit far from the down town. But obviously it's not!! The room was nice and clean, even though it was not that new. Staffs were very...

I stayed here for two nights for my conference in Uppsala. The location was not the best but still well located. Staff were friendly and do their job with a smile. The lobby was well decorated. It felt modern and welcoming. The room itself was of a good size by European standard and even came with a DVD player which...

Hotels in Sweden are not cheap probably due to the high cost of employment. But when you are paying around $200 a night, it's reasonable to expect a lot more than is on offer at Hotel Uppsala. The room is 23sqm and the cost of furnishings at IKEA would be less than $1000 per room (being generous). The bathroom has...

I spent about 1 week and a half there for a business trip. The hotel is fine but, being used to travel, I found it quite expensive... Breakfast was pretty good (quite a wide choice) and the staff was very friendly.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. Rooms spotless. 10 minutes walk to the station then just a 40 minute train ride into Stockholm. Ideal for short stays. Uppsala is a nice town with lots of shops and a fair few resturants for various budgets. I recommend the tea/coffee and beautiful cake ritual the Swedes partake in particularly around 4pm and there...

Have a play room for children less than 4 years which was very good if u don't want to go out in the very cold weather. The buffet breakfast was good and variable. The room...

The rooms are quite big. It was a good surprise. They have a nice TV and DVD player. Breakfast is good. You have to pay all nights in advance. Unfortunately, cleanness is not definitively part of their value proposition: first day room was left uncleaned; second day, no cleanness either (they just took one towel and made the bed). I...

I stayed for one night together with a colleague during a conference. We had separate single rooms. We got quiet rooms on second floor, after my colleague had asked for it in the reception, when we arrived. The rooms were big, with big bathrooms. Outside our windows, there was a little area with grass, for a little walk etc. However,...
