From being a quite famous mansion to get married or to have conferences - it has now been converted to a refugee camp... Too bad. Used to be quite ok even if the maintenance was poor. Amazing that Sweden can offer a seaside resort to the refugees they take care of.

The guest rooms are in wooden mansions located in a huge park right by the sea... an almost perfect setting. Unfortunately, the hotel rooms are very small and soundproofing is not good. The park was neglected and most employees seemed to be on temporary jobs. But thumb up for the breakfast buffet: a wide choice presented in style, outdoor seating... More

This mansion, built in 1901 by owner of Tjoloholm Castle Blanche Dickinson, really lets you marvel at how magnificent this place must have been a hundred years ago. Still today, it's just a fantastic place to relax, enjoy the view of the sea, the beautiful park, and the quietness of the place. Breakfast room is splendid as well. If possible,... More

The hotel has multiple houses with guest rooms. The hotel has a nice park with a pier in a very calm sea. The area of the hotel-a peninsula-has many nice areas. The hotel is quite secluded and even with a GPS can be a bit hard to find, but it is really quiet. Excellent breakfat.

This is a beautiful place and a fantastic looking, if little odd, hotel. The grounds of the hotel and the view are amazing. There were no rooms left in the main hotel when we stayed, so we had booked the Birger's house, which is adjacent to the hotel. It was ok, but more a slightly run down holiday home with... More

Had a stay for conference, very nice view with the pier, trees, grass, ... the conference room and eating room had a nice atmosphere, furniture and decoration which fits with the location. The bedroom was a bit small without desk or chair. I missed a dark place to sleep during swedish summer

Imagine driving along the coast to a hidden English colonial style large house with its own pier. Friendly, inviting, beautifully decorated, you automatically shifted into the application mode. Driving distance from Gothenburg. Perhaps 100 years away from the normal plastic businessman's hotel. Small rooms, fair prices, and worth every penny to be away from the sterile hotels where you are... More

Stayed here twice now on business, the first time was three years ago and the place hasn't changed much which is a good thing. I stayed in one of the two accomodation 'houses' within the grounds, which are small but very comfortable and warm. Excellent showers and bathrooms but again small. The quality of food is stunning although there was... More
