This was my third stay in the Vasa – the preceding two being in my pre TripAdvisor days and it was interesting to revisit it although I ended up there only because my regulars in Gothenburg, the Lilton and the Flora were full and I decided better the devil you know. My recollection of it from earlier trips was cheap...

My room was quite large and had two beds and two couches plus a large bathroom. I wasnt in Gothenburg too long and did not try the hotel's breakfast service. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have actual keys rather than magnetic cards. (A good place to eat that is fairly near is a Mexican restaurant called La...

The hotel has a great location for visitors to the city, especially those in town for the university. The breakfast is by far the best part. Nice breads, cheeses, and meats. They also includes some hot items like eggs and bacon. The room was small but has all the necessities. Good for solo business travel.

It is all about expectations. If you are backpacker and just want a place, ANY place, in a good location, you won't be that disappointed. But as a guest of the University of Gothenburg who has been invited to give a full day of lectures,I found this accommodation beyond shocking. How would I describe this place? It reminds me of...

This was the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in in Sweden. It was dirty, with nasty, old, filthy carpets, stained walls and chipped furniture. My room smelt like a doss house. There was noisy construction work and the whole place felt like a building site. The wifi didn't work in my room. Staff were not much in evidence...

The hotel is placed about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Gothenburg. It's a tram line around the corner that goes to the centre and rail station. Many fine restaurants nearby. The hotel is old, but I found the room very cosy and spacious.

the hotel is in a terrific position, just a mere stroll away from all you want to see in the city center. The room are clean and simple, functional and fully equipped. Personnel is very nice, the breakfadt offers a quite wide choice of fresh products. I can't but reccomend it to whoever needs to spend some nights in this...

In general, it is to be considered the lower limit for a three star hotel. The whole structure needs to be refurbished; rooms are definitely old, with the only exception of a flat screen TV of good quality, the bathroom is in the dimension of one in a cabin on board a ship! Breakfast room is nothing but sad, though...

We stayed for one night in a twin room (2 separate beds and a sofa bed). The room was small, if we had used the sofa bed we would have to crawl around over the beds. The bath room was very spacious though. The room interior is OK but the corridor and the stairs look a bit shady. The beds...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights visiting our son who now lives in the city. The room was not over-large but adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. No tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom, though there is a coffee machine, free to use, in the lobby. There is a basic lounge area. Breakfast is a standard...
