Starting from good things - bed was comfortable and the location was very central. Sad to say but this is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed, We did not expect much from it based on the rating and comments, but considering the cost what you get is almost like a joke. The hotel has nice location, and...

When me and my friend where on a road trip through Norway and Sweden last summer, we decided that we wanted to end our trip in Gothenburg. We decided to rent a hotel, since we´d been sleeping in a tent for over a week, and our backs were quite sore. When we arrived in Gothenberg we had trouble finding the...

Yes this hotel is inside a much more luxury hotel, however it is in a perfect location and if you have come to explore the beautiful city of Gothenburg. Entrance is the hotel pigale and the room is clean.

I spent only one night and it was okay. I had a budget room for one person with a shared bathroom. The shower was cold and didn't stay on so that was not so nice. Room was roomy and clean, but the noise from the street didn't let me sleep much. It was also quite hard to find, but the...

Hotel Robinson is the non-renovated floor of a new trendy boutique hotel called Hotel Pigalli, Even though the decor is tired and dated the rooms are really clean and functional. The added bonus of staying here is that you can enjoy a fantastic breakfast served on the top floor in the newly renovated area of the hotel. It's cheap and...

Booked at Hotel Robinson and arrived to see the sign Hotel Pigalle. When we asked the receptionist why there were two names, she said that the rooms that weren't renovated were sold under the name Robinson and were the same cheap rate 'as though we'd walked in from the street'. In other words, we got a shabby run-down room with...

Stayed here the night of July 1 and couldn't wait to get out. As if the 2nd floor of other hotel, Pigalle, that was sublet. Building being renovated and dust falling down as you enter dark lobby supposed to be retro 1930,s Paris. Card to get into your subsection and key on tassel for door. Unless you like vampire movies....

This hotel is in a fantastic location. Right in the centre of Gothenburg, near to Central Station and the Nordstan Shopping centre (which peculiarly had a pole vaulting event on each day of my stay). The building is marked as Palace Huset but actually houses the Hotel Robinson and Hotel Pigalle. There is no separate entrance for the Hotel Robinson...

I read the reviews before travelling over, so my hopes for the hotel were quite low. I expected a bed and nothing more, an average room to match the price. This was delivered, but quite frankly, I don't see why people are giving it terrible reviews. It's not, by any means, an exceptional hotel, but as long as you go...

POSITIVE. The location in the heart of Gothenburg is outstandingly great! It's one building block hosting both Hotel Robinson and Hotel Palace, which I stayed in. Just a 4 minute walk to the central station, where you easily take the train to the capital, i.e. Stockholm (a 3 hours ride). Also you have all the trams and buses to go...
