I had a few nights at the Hotel Lorensberg in early May. The price was great, especially compared to other, similarly rated hotels in the city. The room was basic but spotlessly clean. + Fairly well located in what seems like a nice area. It's a brisk 15 minute walk from the railway station and a bit longer to Haga....

I stayed here three nights during a conference. The location is good if you are to visit Scandinavium or the congress center. Its also close to Avenyn with restaurants and clubs. However its a bit far from the central railway station. Its a bit annoying to walk and be harassed by all the immigrant beggars along the way but it works...

I have been traveling a lot to Gothenburg, and stayed at lots of different hotels, but this is my new favorite! Why? * It is great value for the money, I payed 750 SEK/night including breakfast. * It is perfectly located for Svenska Mässan, but also close to Götaplatsen, Avenyn, Liseberg, and other places you might want to visit in...

The hotel is centrally situated close to the centre of Gothenburg, this is the only reason the actually get 2/5 points in my book. The hotel is in dire need of a facelift. The standard rooms are small, with a lot lacking in services. For instance no closer to hang clothes, no real space to stow away luggage. Only a...

Nice hotel in a centrally located town house. The room was nice, even though it was a bit small. The hotel is small and friendly, the staff is nice and helpful and the breakfast was good. Fantastic value for money in the centre of Gothenburg.

Nice hotel we like to stay in when we come on business to Gothenburg. Location is great, close to the The Gothenburg Museum of Art and close walking distance from the town center. Staff is friendly and helpful, they have free coffee and cakes in the lobby all day, nice breakfast. The single rooms are a little small and tight.

I stayed for 5 nights at Hotel Lorensberg. The location perfect in the very city center. This hotel is not a luxury hotel, but everything has been done for maximum convenience and guest comfort. The rooms are quite small but spotlessly clean with high quality beds. Simple, but high quality breakfast. A very good selection of fruit and pastry and...

Great location near to Liseberg & city. Two single beds pushed together & pretty hard with stupid square half sized pillows. At least I got 2, but that means a gap in the middle! Shower ok but hot water takes ages & no hairdryer. Clean rooms with a fridge. Breakfast was pretty good. Good TV. Gotta love the late night...

This is a classic-style small European hotel close to the center of Gothenburg (thus, expect small rooms). Near a few major tram connections and most importantly the airport bus. Free wi throughout. Free coffee in the lobby. Small rooms but with fridge. Very friendly staff. The only drawback is compared to similar hotels in other European cities it's a it...
