Askas pension is the ideal place to stay in aegiali. 3 min to the beach, 5 to the center, very calm area with sea view. The rooms are very clean and recently renoved. The owner is so nice and helpful, he suggested us what to do in Amorgos. I fully recommand the hotel! Our stay was perfect. Thank you!

Dear Margaux, Thank you for such a nice comment. We're very happy to read you had an enjoyable stay with us. Indeed, the location of Askas is very practical as it is close from everything, the beach, the port but also the small paths to get in the surrounding villages. The location is great if you want to stay in Aegiali bay (for us a great option). The building and the room was neat and clean, housekeeping visited every day. The guys who own and run the place are great, very friendly and kind. They did help us a lot the first day when I got sick. Plus they run...

Amorgos is a lovely island, one of our favourites in the Cyclades, and Pension Askas in Aegiali is a beautiful place to stay. The boat often arrives at the main island port of Katapola, but they will pick you up and take you over the mountain to Aegiali. The rooms are big, very clean, modern, and have all the usual...

Good start every morning with healthy homemade breakfast. Two minutes walk to the beach. It's a great opurtunity to start walks to Langkada, Stavros and Tholoria....

Imagine…you arrive at 3 a.m on a paradisiac island and you are desperately looking for a place to sleep… Don’t panic, Johanna and Mario have it under control ! Despite the late hour, the welcoming was the warmest, and we felt asleep hoping to see a great view in the morning. We weren’t disappointed ! The room 17 has become...

Great family-run place to stay in Aigiali. Minutes from the beach, the bars and the restaurants although there's really no need to venture further than the Askas taverna which is attached to the hotel. Well-prepared, authentic Greek food. If you're lucky, Marios might strike up his bouzouki for an impromptu gig! They will meet you at Aigiali port or can...

We really loved Pension Askas. We had a room with a sea view and a balcony wreathed in flowers. The family and their helpers worked very hard looking after us. Our room was very comfortable. One slight problem. The kettle and fridge seemed to share a socket that was in a very awkward place - involving knees and stretching. So...

This is a family run hotel newly refurbished at the beginning of the 2015 Summer season. The hotel is about 400 yards from the 'centre' of Aegiali (Aegiali is pretty tiny!) and a hundred or so yards from the beach. They have twenty or so rooms. Each has air conditioning, shower and toilet - all are well up to modern...
