I stayed here in a quad room with two friends in November 2014. I liked the room. It was large with good storage, a sink and a table with chairs. The beds were comfortable, and the washrooms were kept relatively clean. The location is perfect and within walking distance to many attractions.

We got a double private room and it was very confortable. There was plenty of room for our luggage (not that we had that much), the beds were super confortable, it was warm and there was even a TV. Staff was very friendly and the location is great! We could walk to most places and public transportation was also nearby,... More

Apart from its central location this place does not have much else to recommend it. Helsinki is not a cheap city for anything, and 30 euros a night for a dorm bed is a stretch for many travel budgets. That may be OK if the product you pay for is truly first world, but it becomes hard to swallow when... More

This is a great hostel! I stayed here for a couple of nights with my friend in a 6 bed dorm. The beds are comfy and all the hostel is very clean and well taken care of. The location is just perfect, and the whole atmosphere of the hostel (which is relatively small) is really friendly, makes you feel like... More

This hostel is in one word: great! It's very clean, also the showers and toilets. The kitchen/living room makes you feel right at home and I think it's really nice that they used Marimekko (famous Finnish brand) fabrics to brighten up the place. The kitchen has everything a traveller wants: many plates and glasses, a stove, an oven a microwave,... More

This is a well-located hostel, close to the train station and in an area with restaurants and bars. I had a private room in the hostel which was spacious and pleasant. There's a spacious kitchen and communal area and it felt very sociable. The only criticism I would have is the security for key storage was far too lax. Otherwise... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in September, in a 6-bed dorm. Everything was very clean and tidy, the rooms were cleaned daily and the kitchen was large and well organised with pans etc. The staff were so helpful and friendly - the airline lost my bags on the way there and they very kindly lent me towels and a lock... I'm actually writing after my second stay at the same hostel. The first time, I went there for the weekend (while doing my Erasmus in Turku, Finland) with three more friends and we rented out one of the 4-bed rooms; this time, I was just making a one-day stop before taking my flight back from Vantaa after some holidays there... Coming from Estonia, this hostel felt a little pricey (€28/night for a dorm bed) but the staff at the 24-hour reception were friendly. I was in a 5-bed dorm, and unfortunately my dorm-mates coughed and snored a lot, but I can't blame the hotel for that... The place was clean and the showers good. The dorms don't have bedside lights... More

I arrived in Helsinki a couple days early with no reservation in August. I checked online to see if this place had any beds available and none were available in Hostelworld. I took a chance and arrived early and they had a bed for me in a 4 bed room. Location is central. Security is good. Its 24 hr so... More
