located in a charming small town. we enjoyed taking the bus and walking to close by burger joint, bar, kfc, and pizza place. small rooms, but clean. we accidentally left our passport in the room and left for the airport. the hotel was kind enough to notify our bus line, gray line, and gave them the passport. the bus line...

This hotel is about 20 minutes away from downtown. We stayed here because it was part of a package we booked. The rooms were nice. They all have wood floors and twin beds that can be pushed together. The entire hotel is being renovated, so there was some construction going on, but it didn't really bother us. The staff was...

We had this hotel as part of package however upon reflection I probably would've done more research and chosen something a little more accessible. What you should know before booking... It is 15 minutes by bus to the town centre, the bus stop is a stones throw from the hotel but it does cost £3.50 for a single ticket. There...

This hotel was part of a package, so I didn't have high hopes to begin with, but the place definitely needs some TLC. The hotel was under construction, which we were not made aware of when booking the package, so after arriving very early in the morning, and seeing the make shift lobby in the stair well, I was rather...

Hotel is very clean and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are good size and spotless. Breakfast is buffet the but good choice. Only downside is location in that after going to Reykjavik we wished we had booked to stay there but saying that it is very easy to get the bus there and only takes 15 mins to...

Hotel Hafnarfjordur's staff will do anything to make sure your trip goes well. They are under construction at the moment and I think once completed the stay there will even be better. Public transportation is right outside and most tour lines pick up right at the hotel.

Basic but perfectly adequate accommodation. Very helpful staff and easy access to central Reykjavic. Gray Line tour operator highly recommended. Iceland is very, very expensive. £100 for burgers and beers for 2. Be aware.

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Reykjavik. You will have to take a bus into town, but the bus stops are conveniently located and come by frequently. There are not many dining options available near the hotel. A 30 minute walk to restaurants, some shops and Hafnarfjordur harbor is fine in good weather. The renovations at the hotel...

The hotel was booked through a travel agency. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was convenient to the harbor and to the city center. What wasn't good was the construction going on in the hotel. Constant noise made it difficult to relax in the afternoon between excursions. No phone in our room, the bedside reading lamps weren't...

The hotel is approximately 20 mins from central Reykjavik by bus. You can get the number 1 bus outside the hotel which will take you to Reykjavik. There is also plenty of parking if you decide to hire a car. The main tour companies picked up and dropped us off outside the hotel. The hotel lobby is currently being renovated...
