We enjoyed our stay here, a room overlooking the sea, fixtures and fittings seemed new. Free coffee and choice of teas provided in the lobby. Great choices for breakfast in the Restaurant museum and enjoyed snack and dinner there too the previous day. All staff were friendly and efficient, made us feel welcome.

We had a really nice but short Stay here. The rooms were clean and cozy and in the Meeting/Relax Area you could find Tee and Coffee whenever you wanted. Breakfast was not the best but OK enough. From most of the rooms you cant see the water, but we weren't long in our rooms anyway. It also offered free internet...

We stayed one night here - a great place to stop, near Jolulsarlon for our Ice Cave Tour. The room was very comfortable, and an excellent buffet breakfast is included. There is too much outside lighting to see the Northern Lights, but the view of the mountain and ocean is beautiful. The onsite museum is wonderful as well. We were...

If you goal is to see the Northern Lights, this isn't the place. The hotel is nice but they have a ton of outside lighting. They have a light outside of your bedroom window. When I asked, they said they put in dimmer bulbs as they used to get a lot of complaints. They said they were there for security....

We stayed one night here and it was good. Clean serviceable rooms. And in this part of Iceland, lodging is few and far between. It features several buildings behind the check in building, each with a common lounge area with coffee etc. The outside looks like a bookcase so easy to spot. Best thing about our stay here was the...

Family owned business - 93 year old grandmother lives in the complex and each person in the family has a role, e.g. grandson did the glacier tours, someone looks after the sheep etc. Room was spacious and comfy with views of the water and sea birds. Good wifi. Most hearty breakfast we have had in Iceland yet. A well run...

A comfortable stay for 2 nights, my room was large and clean and warm. I had very good nights sleep, and the food in the cafe was good and a pint of beer was not too badly priced. There was a common area right outside my door that potentially could have been noisy but luckily there was not anyone using...

Lovely accommodation in a great location with superb food. The staff were great too - we had a trip booked from 8am and weren't getting back until 1pm but this wasn't a problem as they gave us late check out, so we didn't need to be up early to pack. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect for being close to the glacier lake. It gives the opportunity to visit it on different times of the day, with different lighting conditions. We had 2 rooms at the end of the building near the water. Nice and quite. Good beds. Free coffee, tea and water. Also there is a...
