Andi & Yuki are so friendly and welcoming - made us feel so at home. Andi makes a great cuppa coffee - and the homemade jam by Yuki is awesome stuff! A lot of thought and effort has clearly gone into making guests' stay comfortable -- I would echo all the positive reviews by other guests here about the lodging...

I've been traveling quite a lot in many different countries and never have I seen a place like this one. Andi and Yuki did an amazing job making this place warm and welcoming. The design of both outside and inside the place is amazing, full of wood arts (carving, painting, sculpture, etc.), reuising materials like pallets and cable spools, and...

Andi started our journey by meeting us at the airport with a sign with our name on it and driving us to our rooms. We had a quick tour and were left to shower and settle in. We spent our first night in the hot tub in the sleet and freezing rain and woke up the next morning refreshed and...

Stayed one night with my 10-year old son in October. I have no words to describe how amazing this place is. You just have to go and experience it by yourself. Andy&Yuki are just great with warm hearts. And I just love eating happy chicken eggs, home made jam and bread, feeling home even you're far away. It's what that...

We flew from Boston and landed at 4:30am - Andi picked us up and cooked us the most amazing breakfast! Seriously - get the rate that includes the breakfast, it's 100% worth it. The guesthouse is absolutely wonderful - the beds are some of the most comfortable I've stayed in, there's awesome art everywhere, and we saw the Northern Lights...

Wonderful service, I have seen a host drive his guest to the airport at 4.30 in the morning! Room is small but nicely decorated. It was the best place we stayed in 7 day Island, perfect for the first and/or last night.

We stayed for 2 nights and Andi & Yuki couldn't do enough for us, months before booking emailing giving us advice on hiring a car, possibility of Northern Lights & offering to book Blue Lagoon too. Breakfast was gorgeous going to miss Yuki's sourdough bread! Andi's homepicked blueberry yogurt was also lovely! The little touches like the water and chocolates...

Yukiyo and Andi – a binational couple from Japan and Switzerland – are now owning and running Guesthouse 1×6. They recently moved to Iceland because they truly love this stunning country. Free transfers are available upon request from/to Keflavik Airport and an earlybird breakfast is served from 04:30am for all flights that are leaving after 07:00am. Please note that if your flight is leaving earlier, you may want to order a takeaway breakfast. We are looking very much forward to welcoming you in our gem.
