Really good central position, at a good price for icelands rates. Very small shared bathrooms, room a bit cold. We have never seen the owners, if you need something you can only talk to them by phone.

Hello Matteo. If you need something we're always around. By phone, e-mail or in person every noon. We pride ourselves with short response time. All rooms have radiators, you simply have to adjust by turning a knob from level 0-7 to your desired temperature.

Cannot complain for the price. Used as base for a bed and bathroom. The guesthouse had easy to follow instructions for checking in/out. The room was tidy, with clean fresh bedding & towels. The shared bathroom was as clean as a shared bathroom can be and didn’t have to wait to use the bathroom. The inside is a little dated...

Enjoyed staying here as it had a good bed in a quiet location, yet very convenient to the city centre and main shopping and restaurant areas. If you are looking for a proper hotel experience this place is not for you but if you can do without the frills and perhaps a little self catering ( has a well equipped...

The guesthouse is well located, it is close to BSÍ bus terminal and to the harbour. There is a well equipped kitchen and bathroom on every floor. There is no reception, guests can enter and leave by themselves. The door always locks itself. For the price I appreciated the privacy of the rooms and even the shared bathroom was always...

Good budget choice right in the city center. The guest house has a nice kitchen area for guest use. We had reserved a double room. Our room was located at the second floor, very comfortable, clean .Short walk directly to the city center. Located 5minutes walk to the Hallgrímskirkja. Will return without a problem.

I'm giving Loki 101 a 5 star rating for a combination of reasons. Make no mistake, this is not a luxury place to stay, but it does offer, clean rooms, sensible size, quick Wifi, good self catering facilities and superb location very close to the main centre and is on the door step of the big Church (Hallgrímskirkja), so it's...

I celebrated my bachelor party in Reykjavik along with 12 of my friends/family. Because of the amount of guests we had, we were able to rent the entire guesthouse. It really was the most ideal place we could have stayed! It would be extremely difficult to find a better location. We were mere steps from the beautiful Hallgrímskirkja, where there...

3 story 'guesthouse'. Was given the only room in the bottom floor, which the walls are so thin, poor insulated and you can hear every single move from outside your door. I asked the cleaner to phone and say I'd booked this thinking it wasn't a hostel (didn't expect the shared kitchen and loudness) and if there was any chance...

Stayed here for our last 2 nights in Iceland. Great location central to the shops and restaurants. Room was warm, clean with comfortable beds. Basic but had everything you need including a kitchen for guests to use downstairs. Bathroom/ toilet was shared but not a problem as it was kept clean. Free wifi which was a bit hit and miss...
