Our two bedroom suite was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed, including orange juice and milk in the fridge.. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast around the corner they offer is very good.

We were three ladies and we had a room with three single beds. Warm and snuggly covers, ample heat in the room. Nice little kitchenette with coffee/tea/hot chocolate selections, water, milk, cereal. Optional "mini bar" alcohol choices. Bathroom adequate but like many European bathrooms, no where to put stuff. A hot shower has that "rotten egg" smell but that is...

The single suite was perfect for our family of 4 but the service is what stood out most. They were willing to help us make multiple reservations at top notch restaurants. And they called the same restaurant, changing our reservation several times due to our family's indecision and conflicting plans. At other places they might have been irritated with us,...

Immediately on our arrival I was so glad I had booked here we were upgraded to a lovely family suite. All the staff were fantastic with their recommendations and friendly advice which made our time there even better as I used many of their tips for tours booked in advance of our arrival. It made my organisation of 'what to...

We our first spent two nights in Reykjavik here. We were prepared to store our luggage here for the day until the room was ready later on in the day, but was pleasantly surprised to be able to check in only an hour after our arrival. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast that the hotel provided at the nearby...

We stayed in one of the apartments during our visit to Iceland and we had a great stay. All staff we met were very helpful and knowledgable and gave us great advice of where we should go and what we should see. We booked self-catering so got pastries from the local bakery in the morning and then lunch and dinner...

Spent 4 nights in a one bedroom suite in the smaller building. I booked the room on ground floor as travelling with my elderly mother. The rooms were very well set out, cozy and comfortable. The hotel is well situated to walk around the main city centre places of interest. It's not a big city but this hotel is really...

The staff is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and clean and very comfortable. It's perfectly located to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Reykjavik. The staff especially at Reykjavik Residence Hotel is the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever encountered. The day I checked in, early in the morning, before check in officially...

This place is in the perfect location, very central located. The staff were friendly and always helpful. We stayed in the three bed apartment behind the main building and found it very comfortable and spacious. The only reason i gave this 4 stars rather then 5 was the kitchen, the apartment sleeps 6, but it had a single wine glass,...
