A relatively small hotel that is well located for all that you would need to visit in the city of Reykjavik, we found it be be very clean and comfortable. Check in and out was swift and painless and our Junior Suite comfortable with plenty of room and good facilities and toiletries. The mini-bar prices however, were very expensive therefore,...

I have stayed at several hotels in Reykjavik, and this was my second time at Hotel Holt. The hotel is on a quiet street, just a few minutes walk from the city center. The walls are covered in art, and the vibe is dark wood, historic, comfortable. The service is fantastic. The people working there are very nice and helpful....

Great suite, decent size bathroom. Well equipped, comfortable. Just not enough power outlets for electronics. Great location, central, walking distance to most city attractions. Breakfast is amazing - the only problem is that it is hard to not overeat!

The rooms are suites and very comfortable. They are clean and attractive. Open windows with clean air for cooling. The staff are all very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the bar and Gallery restaurant where the food was very good.

Excellent customer service. Rooms are clean and of ample size. Breakfast buffet was delicious as was the restaurant for dinner. Quiet neighborhood but excellent location. Great choice! I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for two nights and couldn't fault our stay. It was our anniversary and we were updated to a suite and received a bottle of cava on ice in our room. The hotel is full of character and very grand. The staff were lovely and the car parking was great as the streets surrounding the hotel were very...

Ragnan (?) the receptionist was extremely helpful and courteous. He helped me to book a trip to the airport via FlyBus. Asi the bartender was extremely courteous as well. I was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival, which was a very large room by European standards and had 2 TVs. It had both a standing shower and a tub....

The Hotel is a very special hotel. Rooms are attractive in their simplicity. But the unique feature is the comprehensive collection of Icelandic art. Interesting artwork all over, public rooms, restaurant, corridor, guest rooms. Wandering around the hotel is an esthetic pleasure. Other reasons to recommend the hotel: wonderful staff, helpful, charming and the perfect location - quiet street yet...

Excellent location near many sights. As others have said, the rooms are a bit worn, but they are not shabby and perfectly comfortable and a decent size. A fan may be needed in the summer. Breakfast buffet was ample, tasty and in nice setting, with good options and well prepared, albeit not of luxury quality -- for example made to...
