The location of this hotel was ideal. Everything was in walking distance. Generally a very nice hotel, reception staff were all friendly and very efficient. Everything was really easy, pick-ups for the trips were always outside on time (just chill out and go to the bus with the name of the trip company). We stayed in a deluxe room and...

This hotel has everything you need for a good holiday in Iceland, all the communal areas are modern, clean and very nicely decorated. In the reception area you can buy food and drinks at a reasonable price compared to other places. The staff are also very helpful at the reception desk. The food in the breakfast buffet is very good...

Very basic room, basic breakfast but nice and fresh. Lovely location from main town, walked everywhere. We were out all day so only the evenings spent in the room which was enough. Good service and friendly and very helpful staff. Reception lovely and new and modern but rooms very old fashioned but clean.

When we arrived and went up to the desk the 2 women on reception were quite off and not welcoming at all. We had 2 rooms booked; a double and a triple. The double was on floor 2 and the triple on floor 3. We weren't told where the breakfast bar was or how to even get to our rooms...

Bit of a stroll to main street but not too bad. It took about 15mins. We stayed in both new and older rooms. Both were very comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. No complaints apart from one set of very selfish neighbours who woke us at 2.30am. The breakfast was very good apart from the terrible watered squash masquerading as...

Fosshotel Raudara is well located, close to the Hlemmur bus-station - ideal, if you're looking to take trips out of town. Evidently, it was once part of the Best Western chain but now belongs to Fosshotel and it's evident they've invested in the communal areas, which were most pleasant, as well as in the rooms. Our room was on the...

Clean, good location and staff and easy check in. The breakfast was not really good tough. It could have more fresh fruits, for instance and the eggs were cold. It was practical to stay there considering the route I took while travelling around the country.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel in early February, and we could not be happier. Our room was large, bright, clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good. The staff were awesome, and were always helpful and smiling. We arrived early and when a room opened at 10 am we were allowed to check in. The hotel...

Average hotel, small rooms that need updating. Very good breakfast however when we were there is was very busy and nobody seemed to be running it. Small bar and shop in lobby which was handy. The bar also has a happy hour...the barman wont tell you about it so ask for it!

Stayed here last summer when the hotel was still the Best Western Hotel Reykjavik. Location wise it is okay situated near the city's main street Laugavegur though most of the attractions and shops are at the other end of the street. I had Room 409 which was small and basic but clean and adequate, very small bathroom. Hotel seemed to...
