Nice hotel outside of city center. Used primarily for conventions, so expect hordes in the dining room at breakfast time. Breakfast, though, is excellent. Check in ,especially with the help of Olaf at Reception, was excellent, even though our room wasn't ready until almost 3PM. There was no one to assist with getting our bags to our room, so we...

The staff here is so incredibly nice and accommodating!! They are patient about answering questions and fulfilling all of your needs!!! We had a junior suite as we had 2 adults and a 14yr old. We stayed in this hotel for three nights. It is situated out of Reykjavik city centre, but we did not find this inconvinence. Three times a day three is a free shuttle service to the centre. This is one way service. Service in reception is very good and all and all everythin runs smoothly. Breakfast is outstanding. We also tried...

Originally built as a Holiday Inn, this property is not grand. No soap, shampoo or other amenities in the room. Soap dispensers on the wall of the bathroom. Open shower gets bathroom floor soaked. TV was difficult to turn on and had a very poor signal. Needed to request extra pillows. Good wifi and free. Breakfast buffet was fine. Location...

My Husband and I came to this hotel for our second year anniversary, we found the rate was within our budget and hotel is well positioned in the city. As soon as we arrived on the coach from the airport the friendly staff checked us in and made sure we had everything we need. I am in a wheelchair and...

A nice hotel, but far away from the center. There is a nice 20 min walk, but next time I'd rather stay closer to the city center. The hotel is good, rooms are great and breakfast is ok. Was a but crowded with Tours and delegations. Service esa very good.

The Grand Hotel in Reykjavik is a modern hotel with rooms that are quite large by European standards. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. There is no ac so request a room on the outside so that you can open a window of it gets too warm. The interior rooms can be too warm with no...

Grand hotel is a rather nice hotel situated a bit from the downtown but though not that far away so the location is good. The rooms are rather modern and well equipped (stayed in executive room). Service is good but I do have some complaints. I received the info that the check in would be from 2 pm (both from...

Me and my husband visited Iceland in January this year for a long weekend and we had booked this hotel. It was a lovely hotel, very modern and clean (there was always a cleaner in the lobby cleaning and drying the floor as it was very snowy!) and friendly staff. They were knowledgeable with the local area, giving us clear...

We want here on a package. The hotel is very modern and a skyscraper but is lovely inside. Make sure to get a room with a view and not looking into the Atrium. View towards the bay and mountains is spectacular . Breakfast very good. We ate in the bar a few times as the hotel is quite a distance...
