I stayed for one night before travelling back home. I was able to check in earlier at no extra cost. The hotel is dated and currently being refurbished but kept clean and comfortable. I stayed on the 7th floor and had a wonderful view of the city with the Hallgrimskirkja in view. The hotel is also opposite the national museum...

Booked through Expedia as a package. As we were traveling from the States our flight got in during the early morning hours. After reading past reviews I thought that an early check in may be an issue, but it wasn't. The desk staff got us right in with no issues. The front desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. When...

I booked hotel on-line for 3 nights. I get confirmation for 450,90 Eur for 3 nights, but hotel took from my account 472,36 Eur. I stay at the 6 floor. It was not good wi-fi connections, TV not working, hotel very old and not clean, was only very hot water. I decided to cancel 1 night and to choose other...

This property is positioned just on the edge of the main town area - it requires about a fifteen walk which is not too difficult to navigate. The staff are very helpful and friendly as most Icelandic people are. However it is an older property and is currently undergoing refurbishment in places so some rooms whilst very clean and tidy...

Went for Easter holidays, and was perfect for our trip. Our package included bed and breakfast, and it was great to have one meal of the day paid for in advance. Breakfast had a fantastic choice of breads, hot breakfast, pastries etc. We had dinner once, in the lounge, and the food was delicious. Had coffee in the bar one...

Let me start by saying that in Reykjavik everything is expensive, very expensive. In this hotel the breakfast is included and it is really good. I have to say I was really impressed with how friendly and professional the staff in charge of the breakfast were (thank you, Paula!). The hotel offers a good quality free Wifi and the hotel...

Stayed here with my family for 4 nights in April. Staff friendly and helpful and room perfect for the 3 of us. We had breakfast included and considering how expensive it is in Iceland we were glad we did. The breakfast was plentiful and varied and catered for all tastes. Served until 10.30am, we would fill up for the day...

We were a family of four and had booked two rooms for six nights via BA holidays. The hotel is slightly out of town, about 15 minute walk to the centre but was quiet and convenient for pick ups. When we arrived we were given two rooms opposite each other (I had booked a twin and a double and initially...

We traveled as a group of friends, 6 couples, and we stayed at this hotel for 5 days. Breakfast was sumptuous, the staff allowed us to check in early at 8:00 a.m. as our flight landed early. Rooms were comfortable. Tons of tourists, and a popular pick up spot for tours. Bright, airy, rooms. One downside, our bathroom had a...
