A lovely hotel. Helpful staff. Clean, quiet room. Lovely restaurant and bar (expensive, of course. It is Iceland!). Close to the bus stop. Great place to meet fellow travellers or to mind your own business. We had a great stay, no complaints whatsoever. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed at this lovely modern hotel at the beginning and end of our trip. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are spacious and clean and the restaurant serves great food. Prices seem expensive compared to the UK, but standard for Iceland. We also used the spa, which was a great place to relax at the end of a... More

The hotel was excellent and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed a cab, there was one waiting or the staff would be more than willing to call us one. The restaurant Satt was decent. There was a great spread for the breakfast buffet. Lunch menu is a bit on the limited side, but quality food. Did not... More

I had a standard room but it felt like a deluxe. Everything is very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and very easy to deal with. I would and will definitely stay at this hotel my next time in Iceland. While it might not be downtown it is very close to downtown.

My wife and I just spend a long weekend in Reykjavic staying at the Natura hotel. The location is excellent, about a 20-minute easy walk from the Old Port. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was ample and varied, with a broad range of hot and cold food. But easily the best thing about the place is... More

This hotel is large, airy, lovely. Staff are reasonably friendly, but not terribly accommodating. Biggest downside is that it is located far outside the city center, and not really within walking distance of any restaurant, and the hotel restaurant has very high prices. The breakfast buffet is excellent. A lovely upside is that the hotel will provide you with a... More

Clean, modern hotel right beside the airport, not Keflavik , the smaller one used for internal flights. It's a pleasant 20 minute stroll from downtown Reykjavik in a sleepy, peaceful part of town. The Perlan (The Pearl) is right nearby with the Saga Museum. The rooms are clean and neat, not especially big but comfortable. The hotel restaurant serves very... More

Nice size room, great buffet but if you have to pay for it, expect a $$ price tag. Also, if a tour group is present, tables are hard to come by. Hotel is a distance from attractions and sights, which was a bit off putting. Lots of streets to cross. Very close to the domestic airport, which was wonderful being... More

We stayed at the Icelander Hotel Reykjavik in mid-November via a package deal that included the hotel, breakfast and the northern lights tour. We arrived very early from North America and the staff was very helpful to get a room prepared as soon as one was available. The room was well sized. Bathroom was a bit tight. The room, as... More
