IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS! this is a clean hotel, close to the city center that offers a basic breakfast at a low price! for travellers looking for somewhere just to sleep and cram breakfast before a day of sight seeing then this ideal. If you want something with a huge buffet or more amenities then you will have to pay...

Booked this as a package holiday. Rooms are really small so do not bring a cat because there is no room to swing it. That said, its basic but the breakfast is lovely. All buffets. Dinner was lovely as well. Staff are friendly. Because it was part of a package holiday with icelandair we wont be spending much time in...

Stayed for 1 night in March. Very busy entrance as bus loads of people kept being picked up and dropped off. The room was VERY small and basic with a 'window' which had a picture on it.. when opened it was into a hallway! No toiletries and no hairdyer. Tiny tv that had more snow than the mountains. Breakfast was...

Dear anonymous, Thank you for your review and for your stay. We are sorry if the rooms did not meet your standards. We would like to emphasize that our standard rooms are indeed small, but very cozy and comfortable. Some of the rooms have a window facing the hallway. You get smaller rooms, but you do also pay budget price....

This hotel is a great short term option but I wouldn't recommend it for longer term stays. It is very compact even for only 2 people. Having said that, it is great value for the money which is difficult to find in Reykjavik. The room had everything we needed and the view was fantastic! We really enjoyed hanging out downstairs...

We stayed here for 2 nights as a short trip to Reykjavik and it was ideal for what we needed. The place is very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was fantastic. It is slightly out of the way but literally rakes 15 minutes to get to the centre and it's located next to the water so it's a very...

Visited at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb as part of an Icelandair package. I chose this hotel as it was significantly less expensive than the other hotels offered. I was in a standard room for a couple days which was clean and efficient. It looked exactly like the pictures shown on their website and on TA. No, there is...

The hotel is a short distance out of town but well served by buses. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and warm. It was furnished with a fridge and tea making facilities. The wardrobe was a reasonable size. The view from the window gave a panoramic vista of the sea front. The food in the restaurant...

The staff were wonderful, the beds comfortable, the temperature good but it is as basic as it gets. Scratchy toilet paper, no kleenex, no changing the beds, not much daily cleaning - just changing the towels and a quick minimal wipe of the wet floors. Only amenity is a tv with basic service, and a mini-fridge. If you want a...

Just got back from island. Stayed here in the deluxe rooms. Compact but very clean. Very helpful staff and overall, a good base for staying in Reykjavik. Not to far from the centre and a just off the sea front.

As part of a package, we stayed in a tiny room, with barely enough room to walk around the bed and no room to open a suitcase. That said, this worked out wonderfully and we had no regrets. Traveling on a budget tour, the location was excellent and the breakfast satisfying. Only a 25 minute walk along the waterfront to...
