The gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Farooq) was incredibly helpful during my time in town. He helped with my tour cancellations, bookings, and all manner of things so my stay was stress free. The hotel itself is located centrally and makes finding your way a breeze! It also has a quaint breakfast bar and some...

My (adult) daughter and I just got back from a very nice stay in Iceland, and very much enjoyed our stay in Leifur Eiriksson. After each day’s adventures we made a point of heading down to the hang-out area for tea (me) and hot chocolate (her). We did have a hang-about morning one of our days there, and snuggled in...

Good hotel, fabulous view from the 4th floor front room but no lift to take our luggage up to the 4th floor, however help was at hand. Very good breakfast and tea/coffee/hot chocolate free at anytime also light meals at a small price. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very good wifi. Location to centre was excellent. Only criticism I had...

Me and my girlfriend were here for three nights and absolutely loved it. This hotel is in the perfect location, just a short walk into town, surrounded by some nice bars and shops. Your greeted by very friendly staff who can't do enough for you, sharing local knowledge and offering free hot chocolate and tea for your visit.. Lovely little...

This budget hotel was a delight, made memorable by the little touches. The location was very convenient for the town and right by a bus stop. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was good but the real bonus was free coffee, tea and hot chocolate 24 hours - perfect !

Great hotel, reasonably priced, free parking over the road, decent breakfast, free hot drinks 24/7, spotlessly clean and right opposite Hallgrimskirkja. Rooms a bit small but you don't visit Reykjavik to sit in your room. Really nice bar area and friendly helpful staff (special mention to Faroukh who was great). All round a fantastic little hotel.

As others have mentioned, the location next to the Hallgrimskirkja makes it easy to walk all over Reykjavik and never get lost. The rooms are efficient and larger than I expected. Bathrooms clean and efficient as well. Sturdy coat hangers in the room was a plus, too. Amazing view of the church! Free hot drinks available 24/7 and minor food...

Loved this hotel. It was simple and excellent location. Being by a key landmark that is also one of the highest points in the city, it made it very easy to find our way home each day. Lovely cafe area that was a great place to camp out and research our plans for each day over a coffee or beer.

Booked this hotel totally at random and were so pleased with the location, it's right opposite the iconic Hallgrímskirkja, which means you can find your way back from almost any part of Reykjavik! On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff, who spoke excellent English, which was fortunate as we had neglected to learn any Icelandic (poor!). Our room was...
